Does your Mayor cosplay?

I really want to make her a Sailor Moon character. Either Jupiter or Venus (that red bow!). I've got Mira, I've got the right town tune... I just need switch up all the designs in Able Sisters so that I have my personal army of Sailor Scouts. >

Some time ago, my mayor was cosplayed as Howl, from Howl's Moving Castle, with a design of mine; I didn't like the QR codes that I saw here and there, so I made my own design.

Also, I have a resident named Nahoko, that is obviously cosplayed as Nahoko, from The Wind Rises. She's wonderful.

My mayor cosplays as Miranda Lawson from the Mass Effect games sometimes, I made her the top part of the outfit and paired it with bottoms and boots. I dress her up in The Nightmare before Christmas outfits sometimes as well.

As for what to cosplay, idk. I just pick up whatever I'm doing at the time, or someone I think would make a funny / interesting mayor.

Ahh, I see. The beret is an important part of the appearance, but I think it'd look good even just with some short, light blonde hair. I don't have my 3DS with me at the moment, but now after thinking about it for a couple minutes, I think the TF2 scout would probably be a pretty easy cosplay. Though even more than that I'd like to cosplay Lucas or Claus from Mother 3, since that's my favorite game. Or maybe Kumatora...

Btw, too much time on your hands is arguably better than too little! I have too much free time too, I just haven't had my 3DS with me for a while so I haven't been able to cosplay anything in-game, and the thought honestly didn't cross my mind until this thread.

I found a random QR code online for this dress I liked. Apparently it was from Precure or something, which I've never watched so I wouldn't know. I glitched onto a cliff and did a Hatsune Miku cosplay though, with my character hold the megaphone.

There's so much creativity you can use with glitching in New Leaf.

Haha, these sound cool. IDK if mine really count as cosplay, but my mayor has spent some time IG as a bear and as a bunny. But those aren't too creative. It was fun though to pretend to be an animal, like the villagers. I actually have been thinking of making my Alts into a bear, a bunny, and a frog...and letting my mayor be the only human. I don't have the 4th alt yet, so I have time to decide on that.

Also, I dressed one of my alts as Gulliver for a while. Also not very original, I got the QR for the Gulliver sailer outfit online, put on a beak and sailor hat, and walked around barefoot. I had also TT'ed a month before for grass, and my character had bedhead, and I left it that way to give her the shipwrecked look. XD

I used to dress as Touko Fukawa but now I prefer wearing other clothing. Cosplay is fun but it gets a bit boring and sometimes I'm bugged when the hair/clothes is not...right.

Ah, I like making my own designs from time to time. But cosplay is definitely good...practice for patterns, I guess. I haven't reached that 'I'm bored' stage yet.

Yes! My Mayor certainly does! I have a dress that emulates the Tenth Doctor (David <3) and I wear that the most. Given I match it with the red silk hat that David doesn't wear.. I think it's the same idea. :3
