Curious to know - do you change rooms up at all, or do you keep it the same, once you get it decorated? I have 2 rooms that I won't touch, at least for now. I love my stillroom and my basement. The other rooms keep a similar layout, but I do change the color scheme up each season. Even though the furniture stays in the same spot, customizing kitchen things (I use a lot of the ironwood) can make a big difference, when you pair it with new wall, floor, rug, and accessories. Three months seems to be about when I want to freshen things up again.
Agreed with the theme. I never thought of bedroom on 2nd floor, but thats a good idea! I made it the main walk in when i hadn't unlocked anything yet, then tried to connect a kitchen to it. When i unlocked the other rooms i made it the front room. Then i unlocked up and downstairs, and decided to make upstairs my guest room, with a room divider and the right side of that room is going to be a washer for them. I think i'm happy with my layout personally, though. I've been especially happy with the newer and Happy Home furniture lately (Happy Home is sm fun btw, best money ever spent on my favorite childhood game). Will post my whole layout separatelyI prefer each room to have it’s own theme, I keep my bedroom on the second floor and it’s mostly brown Antique furniture, and Den furniture. The right room is my guest room and I made it all brown Imperial furniture with some cherry blossom plants, parquet flooring, and other Zen like stuff like a Tea Table. My basement is a game room with all the pinball machines, arcade machines, and a Jukebox. Aside from that, my living room, bathroom (left room), and kitchen (upper room) don’t have themes yet, but I’m working on it!
Pretty pleased with those themed rooms the most! The living room, and Kitchen are my main projects at the moment.
