Does your family have any Easter traditions?

My family isn't religious so Easter for us is mainly just a reason to visit extended family and then have a big dinner, usually consisting of lamb. My parents always buy chocolate eggs for me, my brother, and sister too.

Saying that, I missed Easter dinner yesterday after getting super drunk and passing out for six hours.

Easter hasn't been a big deal in my family for a long time. When I was little, my parents used to get us baskets, we did Easter egg hunts, and we went to church.

I'm no longer religious, thus I see Easter as a celebration of Spring, and I despise Spring, so I don't celebrate it myself.

We used to have one but now we don't anymore. So every Easter we act like there's no holiday and its just a normal day.

We don't really do anything for Easter, no. When I was younger and my whole family was together it was more of a big deal. We'd do the little egg hunt around our house, have a special breakfast, get a little goody basket that had a new spring outfit and some sort of outside activity (chalk, bubbles, jump rope, etc). and we'd do a special supper as well! Plus I was in Catholic school as a kid so it was always a bigger deal in that regard too and we'd go to church for it. As we got older though my parents separated and I stopped attending a Catholic school so Easter definitely took a backseat in terms of celebration. Sometimes we'd have a small egg hunt in the house if my dad remembered but generally we just buy Easter chocolate the following day for cheap, lol.

My family isn’t religious so we don’t really have any big traditions but Easter is one of the holidays we try and celebrate, along with Christmas. Usually we’ll celebrate it as a family and my grandparents usually come round (though couldn’t do this the last couple of easters), and then we always have a roast turkey dinner. Also it’s traditional that my parents buy myself and my siblings a chocolate egg every year, despite the fact we’re all adults now, but I can never say no to free chocolate.

My family are religious, but we are a step down from those full-on Christians. We attend a more casual church and the Easter time is more a time for us to relax from our working lives. We really only have one tradition, we all go to my sister’s place (she has a child so yes it makes it more fun) and we have a Easter egg hunt in her yard. This year it was raining so we had it outside. We also are allowed to eat a butt-ton of chocolate shamelessly because everyone is

my family goes to church every easter. we only go on christmas and easter because we arent super religious. i dont really like easter because i have to go to church but at least i get chocolate.

We always ate Brioche with some really good smoked ham and soft boiled eggs on easter morning!
Then me and my brother would stand up and start searching for "eggs" (more like presents) and once
we found them we would of course play with them for a while. Usually we would play so long, that it would
be time for the cake! It's a super tasty and light vanilla cake that is in the shape of a cute lamb coated with
powdered sugar. Me and my Mom would usually bake it together the day before. It's hard to resist eating
it before Easterday!!

my aunt & uncle go to church with a basket of food (eggs, bread w/ ham) to get them consecrated and then the whole family comes together to eat

We usually do an Easter dinner the night of or the night before Easter with the family. Besides that, it's mostly an event for my younger siblings; chocolate and egg hunting and all of that.

I stopped going to church a long time ago. The rest of my family used to go, but for the past few years I don't think they've gone.

I can't say that we do, no. It's mostly just an excuse to have some chocolate at this point.

they go to church. my brother and i got some candy growing up, but i dont live with them anymore so not really any traditions

I think we originally went to church, found a basket with candy, did an egg hunt, then made dinner (basically Thankgiving style, but with ham also). Last I was with them they generally just had crab and a couple sides. I remember that year particularly since they burned the mashed potatoes, lol.
