A couple of mine do.

My brother got it about a week ago, and my cousin's girlfriend (?(lets call her Zoe)) got it last night.

Poor Zoe got a town named Dongtown and had an unspeakable for her flag. I told her to reset and get her own town. Its much better XD

No, but I was already in my mid-20's when the series started in 2001 in Japan, so I had problems enough convincing my family in 2002 that I wasn't playing a "kid's game"! It's like this is FAR more complex than you realize, just ignore how it looks!!

thats simultaneously scarring and hilarious! and no, no one in my family "gets" video games especially ones like this, so its my own safe haven away from them

My mom likes to borrow my game and play it, she gets a lot more done then I ever do. She has two villagers of her own.

Yeah stay away from used copies, I mean its common sense to reset your town before getting rid of it.

No one has. I've tried showing it to both my little brother and older sister, but they tell me it looks boring. I think AC is boring to watch too, but it's fun when you play yourself.

My brother finally tried acnl after months of me telling him it was awesome xD and now he loves it

I checked the used copy I bought and I think the person had a nice villager i just sold lol.... but they had no bells which is what I wanted lol

I'm the only person in my family who plays video games. I tried to show them Animal Crossing, but no one gets it. It's like rocket science to them.

Just myself~ Though my family asks me ocassionally about my games and what there is to do blahblah. I think this game so fun and free, anyone can instantly like it cx

my step sister had new leaf way before i did. like a whole year before me pretty much. lol.
and now my town is like 100x more progressed than her ever has been.

Growing up, yes. Me and my siblings all had a DS and a copy of Wild World. We played it so much, quite often together. It's actually one of my fonder moments growing up :p We would sometimes stay up late, hide the DS under our duvets, and visit each others' towns when we were meant to be asleep. Rebellious.

Now, no. My brother is 18 and the games he's into are the FPS type. He wouldn't sneer at AC but neither would he be interested in playing.
My sister doesn't own a 3DS. I know she wants one though.
I did, however, persuade my boyfriend to get ACNL when he bought a 3DS. He swears he only plays it to keep me happy, but he plays for at least half an hour every day without my reminding him to check his town. The 'excuse' is that he must check on his favourite villager (Phil), but he got really into fishing the other day. Don't know why he just doesn't admit he enjoys it :p

Nope, but when I first got Wild World, my younger brother started playing it too and then he gave up on it cx
I'm the only one in my family who plays this game ^^
