You know when you wake up at 4AM disoriented and super thirsty, and you grab that glass of stale, dusty water that’s been sitting on your bedside table for 2 days and just chug it before going back to sleep??
That’s when water tastes the best and I will die by this opinion
To be fair, anything tastes better when you're at the wee hours of the morning where you're super hungry but don't want to wake up everyone in the house by going to get a snack.
Oh man, night water tastes so much better. I don't know why! I wish all water tasted like that because then I would be a water drinking machine, but sadly that won't happen. Also, water after a run just hits different, I chug a glass of water and suddenly everything is ok again. This post made me dehydrated, I'm going to go grab some water.
This is a question that I would have never thought of. Water doesn't taste like anything, so I'd take it any time of the day when I'm thirsty and to stay hydrated.
I think if anything, the temperature of the water matters most to me. I'm one of those people who enjoy iced water all the time even in cold weather haha
Oddly, water makes me feel sick to my stomach and sometimes makes my throat feel scratchy like sandpaper, but only if it's plain water .. I don't drink it much, if ever, lol.
I think water might taste bad in the morning because the last thing you did or didn't do was brush your teeth and then slept for however long you slept. The bacteria in your mouth probably makes it taste bad. I can drink water in the morning, but it's kind of weird to me for a reason I can't really explain. I prefer water in the afternoon and/or at night.
i try my best to not drink ice cold water often but man that definitely hits differently late at night. especially before i go to bed. i keep my hydro flask close by in case i get thirsty throughout the night. during the day, i usually drink room temperature water (sounds gross, i know).
