does the Isabelle talk-to-villager option actually work?

I actually haven’t tried it because the features is just there to remove any obscene user created clothing or catchphrases, and I don’t really do that.

The catchphrase reset worked for me.

The outfit reset doesn't work on clothes given by others. Haven't really tested on clothes that are actually from me. Although some say it worked, some say it doesn't.

Catchphrase - villager will eventually ask you when your relationship with him/her hits certain level, so I'm not sure if Isabelle should take any credit here.

Shirt - I've complained TONS, it only works for that day, and the villager will have chance to wear that shirt you dislike again the next days.

In short, Hi Isabelle, either Tom is not paying you enough or you're not doing your job.

Oh wow... Oh no... I really thought you could reset stuff given by others, I had no idea that's why people insisted so much on a villager being original or not. I was wondering why my "reset" didn't seem to do much .

At least it isn't the instant muscle suit that so many villagers seem to develop overnight lol

I honestly think that's a glitch or an oversight by nintendo, because there needs to be a way to remove profanity/adult content, given that kids play this game. :\

I mean I get why they gifted it, her house is basically a bahroom so it makes sense... But the horror of seeing Diana outside for the first time, taking a nap on a hay bed in the pouring rain in nothing but a bath towel

LOL it is a little unsettling, I hate the idea of a villager losing a towel in public. They may be virtual little animals with nothing to them but it's the general idea of clothing and being covered in front of others!! This girl needs some real clothes!
