I know many of you will say Nintendo is the Walt Disney of video games but I am thinking of games that are cinematic and character as well as plot driven like Bioware games but are colorful and kid friendly. Zelda is one of the finest video games ever made but I am thinking something more complicated than save the princess slay the dragon. Perhaps Telltale could fit this but they have shut down.
Does the video game industry need a Walt Disney? Does the video game world need something like Frozen or Toy Story?
Why is no one in the video game industry making quality cinematic plot and character driven games aimed at young children and families?
