So most of the villagers I'm thinking about having on my island have a pretty "natural" look. Audie could go either way because she's brightly colored, but is meant to be a fox so could technically be "natural". Bianca and Bree have splashes of color with their spots and hair.

I'm wondering if Stella stands out too much in comparison to the rest of these villagers? Maybe I should try Kiki, Molly, or Sally? Or does her color scheme add a nice touch of variety?

I might change my mind on a few of these, but the overall aesthetic wouldn't change much. Marshal, Blanche and Bree could possibly get switched out for Raymond, Whitney, or Tasha.

I think Stella is great, but she doesn't quite give the "natural" look I guess. Vesta or Eunice might be good if you're still looking for a sheep villager.

stella would look nice alongside your villagers but since she’s a literal pink sheep, she’s not really all that natural aha :p

Stella doesn't quite look natural to me. Vesta would probably fit natural more, since she actually has natural coloured wool.
Sorry, I probably didn't word my post very well. I know Stella doesn't look natural at all. I'm not necessarily going for an all natural theme or anything. A lot of my planned villages just happen to have that look. I was just wondering if she'd stick out too much since she's not natural colored.

I love Stella so much! I think she’s definitely balanced out by audie since theyre both brightly colored. I really want to see more people appreciate Stella, i hope you decide to keep her!

Thank you for your input! I was thinking Audie might help balance her out so she's not the only bright colored villager on the island. I scanned Stella's amiibo one day just to get a d.i.y and I unexpectedly fell for her. She's so cute and pretty and sweet looking!

i love stella's tiny smile <3 imo, she matches your villagers ! esp balancing the color schemes

Thanks for your opinion! I think she'll fit in pretty well!

I'm not sure I made myself completely clear in my original post. See my reply to Khaelis above, lol.

I'd lean towards she does stick out, since I did mention Vesta having a more natural colour for her wool. You could probably make Stella work, since her colour scheme does compliment Audie a bit. Though, she does stick out just a little bit.

a lot of people have been saying that she doesn't give off a natural vibe, but i had her on my island for a while and she felt rather natural to me. she feels like a bridge between natural and bright, like a bridge between most of your aesthetic and audie. if the only reason you're considering her is for the natural vibe, i'd probably go with kiki and molly. they give off a similar natural vibe and have a more natural color scheme in my eyes, but if you like stella for being stella, i'd say go with your heart!

Although immediately she doesn’t look as natural as others I do think she blends with who you currently have too. If you like her then you should keep her. Having said that, I have Molly on my island and I would die for her! She doesn’t match my theme but not many of my villagers do! I always choose who I like best and give them their own areas around the island and try to work my theme into theirs. You’re the one who has to have her on your island so go with what makes you happiest :)

like i said, i think she’d look nice! she doesn’t stand out alongside the others and while she is the only entirely pink villager in your lineup, reneigh has pink hair and bianca has pink clothing by default so she blends in pretty well imo ;u;

Thank you for your reply! I'm not set on going for a natural look, I was just worried she'd look odd next to my other villagers. But I think there are enough splashes of color in the mix to make it not look too weird. For example, Bianca looks natural from the front, but from the back she's all pink and purple.

A few people seemed to think I considered Stella to be natural looking, so I just wanted to make sure that everyone knew what I was actually trying to say. (Basically is she so bright and vibrant that she sticks out like a sore thumb, or does she balance out the colors). You definitely answered that question and I thank you for your input :)

I just figured I may not have worded my original post very clearly and wanted to fix my mistake. Hopefully that makes sense..I just finished a 12 hour shift and I'm tired.

I absolutely adore Molly, she's probably my number 1 favorite normal villager! But since I've had her before I'm planning to at least try out another villager(s).. even though it's really tempting to have her again.

Hmm...I wouldn’t go so far as saying she fits the aesthetic, but she also doesn’t clash with it either.

To me, that would mean keeping/getting her if I really liked her! Just looking at all the other villagers, she fits in them nicely. Not in terms of direct aesthetic similarity, but...there’s something cohesive about the cast as a whole. Like, I find her living with those other animals believable.

I would say that she 100% fits in really well, she doesn't look un-natural and from what you've said thats your primary concern. She accents your other villagers very nicely and isn't too stand out at all. She looks great in that collage of your villagers, I would personally keep her.

To elaborate a little: Her horns are the same colour as Marshal, her pink wool blends nicely with the others pinks on the other villagers, he brightness accents Audie and her light pink skin matches Reneigh!

That would have been a much better way to phrase my question. I don't necessarily want her to blend in perfectly, but I wanted to make sure she didn't clash either.

Originally I did want all natural looking villagers, but then I realized I didn't want to limit myself like that. I really enjoyed Stella when she visited my campsite, so I'd definitely love the chance to get to know her better. I also really like that she's not mega popular (like Molly or Fauna) so I don't see her very often on other islands. And I can always let her move if she ends up not meshing well with me (although I have a feeling she will).

Thank you, I definitely see what you mean!

As much as I like Stella, I do agree that she looks unnatural next to your other villagers because she's pink. Vesta or Eunice would look better!
