Oddly, Donkey Kong does not appear in Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. Donkey Kong has appeared in almost every Mario spin-off but he doesn't appear in this one.

Meh, I think it's Miyamoto that does. Donkey Kong hasn't been a playable character in Mario Party for ages.

Mario Party 4 was the last time he was playable but at least he made an appearance in the remainder of the Mario Party games with the exception of Mario Party Advance. He never even made a cameo in Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games.

I don't know why they took him out and added DK spaces. That was a dissapointment for me.

It was for me when I first played Mario Party 5 but I adjusted to the change and I got to like Toad more!

:D
If Toad was removed from a future Mario Party game, I'd be really upset.

:'(

I remember playing as Donkey Kong in one of the N64 versions of Mario Party.
Maybe sega does hate Donkey Kong....

They did it cause Mario Party sucked.

@ Bul is right, Miyamoto has a say in what Nintendo characters go into those games.

Donkey Kong is simply not considered a part of the Mario series anymore, he's on his own.

My only question for you is how you know this, really?
