For the past two months, I've been doing a bad job on taking care of my town. Ever since Keaton moved out, I didn't do any plot resetting. And recently, I just got another villager - Pietro. He plotted his house right in the middle of my apple orchard in front of town hall. This made me wonder, does he hate apples? Or is it just a coincidence that he plot his house in a bad spot?

It's just a coincidence... All villagers will place themselves anywhere if they have room. Your apples just happen to be the place they plot. It sucks but I had that happen with my perfect cherry orchard when Diva moved in from a random wifi, so I understand.

snowblizzard24 is right. Because there is always a common spot whenever you plot reset. Just block it with another pwp, but be warned. There will always be another common spot a villager will plot at.

Well, I already exceeded my 30 PWP quota, so I can't block villagers there. But the bottom line is that I at least published a dream town with a really nice design. I haven't even updated it in three months.

When I have more time to play, I'll plot reset again, but I already achieved my main goal of the town. Therefore, not much work is needed to be done. So I may continue in my habit of lack of town responsibility. Taking care of my villagers has always been a weakness of mine, despite having expert knowledge in the game.

Well if you start plot resetting, start with some guides like this.
It may or may not work for you as the guide says. Just a heads up!

yes for sure. Jambette killed my rainbow of flowers and she took 6 months to move out

Wow! That's a long time. And yeah, what's worse than an animal moving in the wrong spot is when an anti-dreamie (most hated villagers) moves in a bad spot. Dreamies moving in bad spots is bad too.

Was there another villager that plotted their house where Pietro currently is?

There's a higher chance of them plotting where the most recent villager left. Ruby plotted near Brewster's, and I got Genji after she left. When I went to plot reset, his plot began to spawn around Ruby's plot. It took like 6 hours to get him in the right place.
