he comes to your house once a week and lets himself in to rate your house... when he does this, he doesn't rearrange it, or take any of your stuff.
every week he'll send you mail telling you how your house scored (the higher the number the better) based on your furniture and how you organize stuff (like if you have an entire set, if it's spacious enough, but not too open, nothing but furniture touching the floor). if you have a high enough rating he will put your room on the model display room, but not with your furniture. he just duplicates what your house looks like for others to see to help them decorate their house.
