Does having certain villagers having a vacation home make them less likely to live on your actual island? Q

Have been wondering about this because I want certain villagers that have a vacation home to actually live on my Island as well

Nope. Them having a vacation home has no effect on them showing up in mystery islands or your campsite.

If you meet them on a mystery island or at your campsite, they don't even acknowledge that they met you on HHP. That's how little of an impact it has.
