Does feng shui exist in NH?

I was wondering if anyone knew if feng shui was a thing in NH? I'm guessing not because of all the color variations and the fact that you can customize things to change their color, but does anyone know for sure? None of my villagers or NPCs have mentioned it. I did set up my main room according to the NL rules by habit but I don't know if it's actually done anything.

I've gotten tons of HHA letters mentioning that either I should try doing certain things for feng shui or that my house has good feng shui already so I'm guessing probably yeah?

Thanks! I've seen people talking about HHA letters but I mostly haven't been getting them. Is that something that unlocks when you finish your house expansions?
