Does Bug Off Points Get Carried Onto the Next Bug Off Event?

My friend TT to the Bug Off event and our group of friends are all trying to aim for 300 points, but some of us can't get enough points in one sitting.
Does anyone know if the Bug Off points get carried onto the next Bug Off event?

Does that mean you won't be able to get more than 1 kind of trophy then if the points never resets?

you mean like getting multiples of the trophies once you hit 300 points? i don't know if they do reset once you've accumulated 300 points and you can just keep getting trophies if you're back at 0.. maybe someone that's grinded the fishing tourney or already grinded the bug-off might know
