Does anyone still play Wild World?

I do still play, a little bit every day (gotta water all the flowers!)
At first, a little over a year and a half ago, my mind wasn't in good condition, and bad things kept happening to me and my family. (Sorry, I know I'm getting a little deep and personal here ': D ) One day, I picked it up--after at least 3-4 years of inactivity--trying to find a way to calm down...
Apparently, Animal Crossing is good for combatting rampant anxiety and depression.
Every time I accomplished something, be it ridding the town of all weeds or even making one of my villagers happy, I got a little happy. Even though things were a little dark, being able to have a routine I could stick to and complete each day made a huge difference to helping me cope with all that was happening. Every day, I'd water all of the flowers, check on my villagers, work towards finishing my encyclopedias, etc. I can honestly say that Wond World did small yet powerful wonders for my mental health. And eventually, things started getting better.
Today, I'm doing a lot better. My little brother gave me New Leaf in April last year, and I mark that around the same time things finally improved. And every day, right before I log on to New Leaf, I hop back into Wild World and water those wonderful flowers once again.

Sorry, I know that's a lot ': D Still, sometimes, it seems the right game can make all the difference.

=^-^=

I just bought a second copy after I thought that I lost my original copy of the game. I didn't realize how nice the characters became in New Leaf until then.. Gave the second copy to my boyfriend so we can play together on occasion. Still super fun. I love the constellation mechanic.

i still occasionally play one of my old copies of the game, perfect for nostalgia. I recently gave my original cartridge to my boyfriend as his introduction into the game series and he loved it. I definitely recon wild world is always worth the replay, if nothing for the music and the events. also seeing 2 villagers talk to each other and then get upset was a bit amusing, as u dont see that in the modern games, i loved being able to listen into the villagers conversations in the earlier games

Playing it right now! I want to be able to do more in it though ): idk

I lost my cartridge during moving house, it's probably in a box in the garage somewhere, but I no longer have a ds. I've thought of getting a refurbished one just to have something to play until New Horizons is released but I don't want to spend money on another console just for that. :(

I lost my copy around a year ago, and even though I only had it for a few months, I cried a lot. I recently bought a new copy a few days ago and I'm getting back into it now.

I really love Wild World, but I can't pick it back up again, even for the sake of nostalgia. I prefer keeping the good times I had playing it in my memory.

I still play Wild World actively every day; it's actually my main AC game since I only have a DS at the moment :p But I honestly find it really fun and lovely anyway :)

I actually got ww today (acnl was my first game so prob got it to see how it is etc).Is it smart to start a new copy right before acnh? ,Idk. Do I think its cute? yes! :3

I wish, I recently made a save in 2018 if I am remembering correctly? Anyhow, I lost my computer which resulted in the loss of my catalog progress. On top of that I think I have a bug where my shop was not updating. :/

man i haven’t played wild world in ages - i don’t remember when i owned my last copy or when i last played but it’s definitely a cute game!

I did buy a copy of WW a couple of years ago but I think I lost it in the move between houses! Tried looking for it and can’t find it anywhere. I do remember playing it and being slightly disappointed though - it’s amazing how much at the time a game seems amazing (graphics-wise) at the time. We’ll no doubt think NH is outdated one day too!

I lost my very first copy of WW quite a while (8 years or so) ago and was pretty bummed out about it. Needless to say, I bugged my parents until I got a second copy but was pretty much not into it anymore, considering all the hours I dumped into playing it with my sister and a friend of ours.

I found the cartridge a few days ago in a random game box (why did I put it there to begin with, I ask myself), found out that the save file was a trash heap and just started over. Can't lie, I kinda missed it. A lot. It was my first Animal Crossing after all. :')

I picked up an old copy without a case from a garage sale for $5 and when I plugged it into my 3DS and started playing it. There were two villagers, "Robbert" (yes, it was spelled like that) and "O" of "Fartville." I walked outside and Lyle tried to get me to buy Life Insurance, and somehow, whenever I talked to somebody, all they would say was "Are you bustin' my chops? Do you want life insurance or not?" And I figured out how to reset it when I played the next time. Robbert had hacked, I think, because he legit had 9,999,999,999 bells.

Every once in a while I'll pick up my old copy of Wild World just for fun but I haven't actually played it consistently for a long time. I miss the days when it was still pretty new and active.

Just found my old cart from goodness knows when! I've been playing NH but my friend doesn't have a switch so he has been playing WW. Hopefully we can play together, but I can't remember anything about the game. I'm going to weed it all and see where I go from there :)

I’m a 23 year old grown woman and I just laughed at ‘Fartville’, what is wrong with me

I don’t play WW anymore, I’ve tried but I can’t go back to it after NL, it just isn’t the same. Although it still holds a lot of sentimental value to me as my first AC game, I played it for years growing up, and it’s where I met Bob. (Who was my first ‘boyfriend’ yes I know pls don’t judge me XD)
Sometimes I think I valued my ACWW life over my real one back then :’)
