Does anyone know the pattern grid size for new horizons?

I wonder if it will be the same as in new leaf or if it will be larger. I hope they keep the grid as at least an option because i loved creating pixel art in that game. The reason id like to know is so i can get creating now hehe :3.

We can use the QR codes of New Leaf or HHD patterns, so that makes me think the grid is the same size. How else would we import those existing patterns in?
