I don't have him on my island, but he does share a birthday with me (June 11) so he's always been kinda special to me

I don’t have Pudge either, but imo him and Chester are the superior lazy cubs.
It’s weird that they changed his catchphrase to “golly,” though. I wonder if they thought “pudgy” might offend some people?

i would definitely invite him if i we had more plots i also agree about chester both of them are really cool
I had him on my old island, and you are right his facial expression is cute. I also like bangs on villagers and his suit him. I just hate his catchphrase and couldn't wait for him to ask me to change it. I dont plan on getting him again, though.

I don’t dislike Pudge, but to me, he’s below average. Despite that, I would want him to become more popular.
Man oh man this is my thread. 
Pudge is one of my absolute favourite lazies.
It comes with a bit of a story:
I had a JPN NL town and he was one of the starters, and I immediately took a shine to him, but alas, he moved out really quickly there. It ended up really boring without him there, actually.
Cut to NH, I'm beginning a second island for experimental purposes, and this time I know I can island-hop for the beginning lazy-normal-peppy trio.
I think less than five tickets later and what-do-you-know, it's Pudge. (on trash island, rip)
I ended up resetting that island due to its creation being flawed to begin with (the 23/4 update stole its thunder because of Leif stocking every flower) and ambitious terraforming ideas that I didn't want to destroy my main island for
But I moved over to my main town for safekeeping Pudge and the obligatory camper--Raymond.
Those two are now permanent residents at the new island and this entire time they've been the best of buds, between their three islands.
If anything, Pudge's constant interactions with him won me over on glasses cat. I can't ever separate them!
(the peach furniture is yellow because I wanted to test if you could throw custom furniture in the starter houses and if it would keep.)
(had to give him back his yellow peach furniture eventually)
TL;DR, I'm one of the few Pudge fanatics out there. Sorry 'bout the essay.

I never had Pudge, but I think he’s super cute and would maybe want him on my island if I had more spots.
I was going to get him in NL but I traded for another villager before he moved in (stupid mistake). I did spend a lot of time decorating his house and enjoyed dressing him up in a sailor’s outfit. ^.^

I'm definitely considering him for my island! I feel like he's really cute and underrated. I love that you don't see him very often...it makes him feel more unique.
I love his poor little face, it makes me want to help him and take care of him, lol. Like, if he wore shoes I imagine I'd always be making him sit down on a bench so I could tie his shoes properly, lmao.
