Is it worth it?
I know it's not much of a game, but I had it on the DS and I loved to play it from time to time for 10-20 minutes.
It was cute and relaxing-
I'm thinking of getting it for my 3DS, if anyone has it I'd appreciate your opinion!

Yeah, every day or so. I just want to know if it is enjoyable.
How long and how much I play it is my business.

I understand that it's your business--I didn't say you weren't allowed to. I just personally wouldn't want to dish out twenty bucks for a game I'd barely play, but obviously that's up to you. From what I've heard, the 3DS version is nearly identical to the previous version other than some minor changes & upgrades to graphics and whatnot. There's 11 more breeds to choose from, though.

Here's a review if you're interested.

Oh I didnt know Josh made a review of this game, he is awesome. Thanks, I will check it out!

I think I am gonna get it... I love that you can buy furniture now, the walks look sooo much better and there isn-t a walk limit anymore, and you can get a siamese kitten and a cardigan welsh corgi which are my favorite cat and dog breeds.

I have played the first Nintendogs on the ds and then it was my first 3ds game. Its very fun and quirky. I recommend it.

I've got it, and I definitely do recommend it! It's the type of game that you can just pick up and play anywhere.

I don't play Nintendogs in 3DS I play in DS its good so I recommend you to play it.

Hi!
I really reccomend it, as I've played my friends copy and OMG, I've fallen in love with the corgis!
The textures are great, gameplay is great, and its MEANT to be played for 10-30 mins a day
I highly reccomend it!

Funny you made this thread because I was thinking about asking for this instead of money in a weeks time from now (I don't get much so I have to be 100% sure) I've only had two 3ds games, ACNL and Rayman. I enjoyed Rayman for the nostalgia even thought it was exactly the same as before to my memory.

Instead of just bringing it up platform wise, Nintendo has definitely tried with Nintendogs + Cats and playing that immediately made my decision :D I loved walking my dogs the most and this was the feature they amped up the most. For that reason alone I want it, nevermind the rest of the game XD Even if they never added cats, I would still go for it.

I'm not sure if you loved the game to extreme levels (like me) but it's definitely worth the money.

If you like it, get it. :) It's a really cute game, and it's fun... but only for the ~30ish minutes you play it a day. (iirc it has more to do than the old DS versions.) When I got my 3DS this was the only game for it that I had (aside from old DS games), so I would try to play it for an hour or two and get super bored. I don't regret getting it though, it's a good game.

That reminds me, I haven't played my Chihuahua or Golden Retriever versions in a long time...

I loved the games when they first came out, I usually don't play it now, but I still pick it up once in a while. c: The cats were so disappointingly useless though, just stick with getting dogs, and play with the cats in the kennel/cafe.

^ No kidding, I think the only thing they do is (rarely) bring presents when you leave the game for a few minutes.

...still bought one, no regrets

I recommend it. It's really fun! I personally love the Shina Inu dogs. I have one named Coco and she's so cute!

My sister and I share French Bulldog and Friends, I bought two cats. ^^ They are adorable. I also got Toy Poodle version for myself though, and only bought dogs.

The gift thing is alright, but I really wish you could enter them in competitions or something. The chaser thing you can do with dogs could have been for the cats.

It was fun for awhile, but you're bound to forget about it really soon. :/ I stopped checking in around the time Fire Emblem Awakening came out, so it's been a year my poor puppy and kitten have had food.
