Does anyone have Coco and mind letting me have her? I'll give 500k bells + some fortune cookie items. I'm probably willing to give more

Yeah, I know there's a villager exchange thread, but I don't exactly have something to exchange x.x

Someone promised to give me Coco yesterday, but they didn't actually kick her out. So now I'm here with an empty slot after destroying my whole town by time travelling when I tried to kick out Lionel (Someone already took him). Was planning to play without time travelling, but apparently you can't reverse city upgrades and gigantic flower fields will be destroyed with weeds everywhere x.x

It's been kinda stressing me out for the past day, so if someone would let me buy her off them (I'm not sure who you'll be getting in exhange, since my sister got Lionel), I'd be really happy

when TTing, make sure you have the beautiful town ordinance haha, so the weeds won't be everywhere and your flowers won't die

Yeah, I should have done that x.x

I feel like I messed up my 2 weeks worth of work x.x So now I'm pretty desperate x.x

I haven't touched my game for a whole day because I feel bad

Every 10 minutes I check if the guy has logged on, but he hasn't. So I dunno what to do... x.x I've been doing this for the past 24 hours. Except I stopped when I had to sleep, but I went right back to checking when I woke up.

If it's still not enough, I can go up to 1.5 million

I only have 1 million right now, but I can get another 500k in a day or two. Maybe I can even make it 2 million (might take me a while though)

Does my offer not sound good enough? Or is it that no one has Coco? x.x

I kinda only have a day for this offer, and if someone takes me up on it, I will be very happy and grateful to them

Wow dude, I really hope you find Coco as soon as possible. I would immediately trade her but unfortunately I don't have Coco in my town...

PS: Do you want some help cleaning/restoring your town? (I can help you with that).

Thanks for that. I think I only have a day left because someone probably might take the neighbor spot tomorrow.

I'm ok with the cleaning, thanks anyway

I just want to be able to get the thing that I destroyed my whole town for x.x I kinda feel like there's no reason playing the game anymore if I don't

That's why I'm willing to give everything I have for her, along with some of the bells that I make in the next few days since I'll finally be happy to play again

I think that everyone who has Coco in her town really likes her? She's one of my favourite villagers too (I don't have her, though... I only have Erik who I'm keeping haha)

Why not try the reset trick for her if you like her that much? I mean... Least it won't add more weeds.

... What is this reset trick?

If you tell me and it works, I will happily give you 500k O.o I'm totally serious. As long as I'm able to get her by tonight

Don't give me anything. Just read up, just a warning it's possible to get no villager on some resets. If you get tired of resetting, pick a reset that gave no villagers with your new character, build your new char's house wherever and then save. It has detailed instructions inside the thread. If you're not sure about something and don't want to read every page you can private message me. Apparently resetting works with who's in your campsite too.

I believe this is how you do the trick. Also don't think you can get her today if you don't have someone moving in.

On the day that the new villager's reserved plot of land is anticipated to first appear, you create a new character BEFORE logging in on ANY character that day. You search your town on that character to find where they've moved in, and who they are. If you don't like either, then you reset and create a new character again. Once you're satisfied, you complete the beginning portion on that character and save to finalize that new villager and their position. You have to do this even if no villager appeared, because sometimes the new villager may simply randomly not show up on some tries. If you're unlucky, you might reset thinking you're safe and wake up to find Quillson setting up his house on top of your planned cafe space. Also, if you get the same villager every single time, then he's a move-in from a friend's village and you can't change his identity, only where he moves in.

Basically, even though the new day for your town has been loaded, certain things are randomized each time you re-create that new character. I'm curious if this randomization applies to villagers moving out after a long absence, as well. I know some things aren't randomized, like the positions of new fossils and any new flower spawns for the day.

Wow, so umm, there's like 300 possible villagers... I can see this taking up to a week for it to work x.x

If you have a "normal" personality character in your town, and it's the only one, you could try getting rid of it (getting it to move out)... The game seems to try to give you all the personalities, so if you have no normal characters left in your town the list will be much smaller. That's what I'm trying to do with Quillson so I can reset for Marshal soon.

O.o Noooooo, that means I'd have to get rid of Dora, my favorite villager x.x

I dunno what to do anymore x.x

Man, so basically I should just give up x.x

Nobody wants 1 million bells for her (or more), and I'm not getting her through resetting unless I let my favorite villager go x.x

You don't have to get rid of the Normal villager, the personalities who come are random. You don't have to have one personality only per town.

But if it's that way then, I have to deal with resetting for 300+ characters.

I looked at one person's example of who they've resetted for, and they were only getting Uchi and Peppy villagers after 9 tries

So I think Lin is right

As long as your town isn't missing a personality type, then maarowak is right. You'll get a whole bunch of personalities.

I guess I'll just fix my time back to normal and pretend my town's destruction never happened... T.T

I dunno how, but Lin made me feel better when I felt that small hope. Even though I can't get her, I guess I'll just try to pretend it never happened x.x

And I'll remember to put beautiful town ordinance next time I have to time travel :/ Only for getting Coco, though

Edit: Oh, and I'm missing smug (because Lionel left). So I feel that I'm going to get a smug character no matter what. Or some other thing that I'm not sure of, I have 2 crankies
