Does anyone have an extra item in their Nook’s today?

So today when I went in to Nooks this morning to check turnip prices there was an extra item for purchase. The nooklings made no mention of it though. They quoted me a price when I asked about it but that was it. So does anyone else have an extra item in their store? Is this a permanent thing? Or just for summer? Thoughts?

yep, this is just for the summer : they sell a variety of summer-themed objects on that special forth slot iirc, such as fans, surfboard, etc etc!

I received a letter about Nook's receiving seasonal items, I thought this was for the Nook ordering thing but was it for this extra item? It might be seasonal

Yes. I'm southern hemisphere, and I have a space heater because it's winter now.

I got a fourth item too. Mine was a green fan. I was really surprised.

Yeah, it happens in Summer and Winter months. I've only seen a surfboard and fan so far (I time travel so I've seen this before) :/
