does anyone feel the update ruined the dream suite?

there were so many good towns that got deleted in the update, especially dreams from deleted towns. as far as i know some of the really popular towns like aika village havent been reuploaded, theres so many towns that new players will never get to experience.

Some towns I would visit for inspiration... maybe even to see if they have patterns I might like... :3
The new Nintendo town isn't as well as the old one...

there were some really interesting towns that might be gone forever. it's a shame really because i would visit them a lot for inspiration and there's probably other great towns that won't be updated again so yes it's basically ruined

They also took away the glitch that let you swim without a swim suit on. I sort of wish I never updated the game to be honest.

When I look up towns to visit there are so many beautiful towns but they usually contain old dream addresses and its very disappointing not to be able to visit them.

Can I go back to earlier version or do I have to buy a new game cartridge? I never had a dream suit so I'm really disappointed now. I mean the new update didn't really add much. It not like it added new shops or anything important.

Aw, yeah. I know my favorite dreams are never coming back and it's such a shame. They were really amazing and I loved visiting them for inspiration and relaxing. Not to mention that people worked very hard on them. But yeah, at least it's not getting any worse. More and more new and old dreams get uploaded all the time.

Yes. especially for the people who wanted to set their town at a specific time/month of the year (even weather) and wanted to keep it like that, now that's gone :/

I guess so. I won't be able to look at my towns that were made in 2013 so I can go back and imagine how 2013 was the best year of my life.

Yes it did. :c It ruined my deleted town's dream town. Now I can't revisit it. ;-; I won't be able to see my old villagers in my old town anymore.

I don't think you can if you didn't hack your town before the update came out. And even if you could go back, none of the internet features work on the older version anymore. You wouldn't be able to visit dreams or play with anyone.

Edit: If you buy a new copy of ACNL, I think you should be able to play the pre-update version as long as you delete the ACNL update on your console. But then you wouldn't be able to play the game you've uploaded. And even doing this wouldn't let you use the internet features on the older version.

It's a shame that even if you don't update your game you still can't visit the older dream towns because it prohibits the use of the dream suite and the old dreams were deleted, so buying a new game won't help.

I miss specially Aika village I always traveled there from time to time
oh and at some point there was a Beatles themed town with a single animal villager it was so eerie and I remember a ghibli themed one too
too bad all of them are gone now
the update is great but yes ruined all the fun of dream towns

Some people have made videos of their visits to old dream towns though, so if you'd like to see some of the old dreams that way, I'm sure you could find videos of others' visits on YouTube. It's not the same as visiting them on your own of course, but I guess it's something.

There is Aika village (a bunch on youtube) Bunbury town (very pretty might be on youtube) I forgot the name of this other one, but it was like Disney Princess based
