Does anyone ever feel bad for a villager when they talk about their old town?

Today Marshal came up to me and was talking about the town he used to live in and how he was best friends with his old mayor. I felt bad for him because I think he misses him

Does anyone else feel bad for their villagers too?

yes! especially the dialogue of cranky villagers on this topic! I forgot exactly what he said, but Kabuki said something along the lines of "i miss the villagers in my old town but i doubt they still remember me" and i was just.... ouch..

The only one I sometimes feel a bit bad for is Ruby. Just like your Marshal, she sometimes tells me the mayor of her last town was her best friend. And then that person just didn't want her anymore ;-;
However I haven't had her say this in a long time. I hope I'm her best friend now ^^

Kind of, but not really that much when I remember that's just random text. Most of the time, though, my villagers only tell me about their town tune.

I got sad when Rowan talked about his old town (I got him from streepass). He was obviously voided and he said something about his old mayor, like "I was never really that close with him".

On the same note, idk what it is with Rowan but he never pinged me once expect to tell me he's moving. He didn't really feel like part of my town because of that. ;D;

Kind of but then again most of my current villagers were from cycling towns and they were mostly covered with weeds so then again i feel happy that they're in a new home with good friends that won't be moving out because once i get Punchy over to replace my Kid Cat then the town will be complete. I think it's cute how they hum their old town tunes though

^^This would be awesome for the next game. Like them say "hey i want to see so and so in my old town, can you take me?" Kinda like Katie. Sure it would be kinda hard to coordinate but it could be a very very rare favor. Or only triggered occasionally if the user that had the villager originally was online at the time.

Last week,out of the blue,Joey started talking about somebody named Richard from his old town Durotar.I've had Joey for about a year and three months but I adopted him from a town called Brill,not Durotar.I guess the villagers keep the memories of at least the last two towns they've lived in.I kind of like it when they talk about their old towns.It gives then a bit more depth.
