Does anyone else miss the igloos?

In New Leaf, whenever you had a camper in the winter instead of just a tent they'd have an igloo, and I always looked forward to having them cause they were so pretty and the music was nice. Now it's just a tent.. I really miss the igloos. Does anyone else feel the same way?

I thought they ditched the igloos long ago. Were they in the other Animal Crossing games? I don't recall them. I loved the igloos in the original game, too. I loved the music, the boiling soup sound effects, and playing various games with the villagers inside the igloos.

aw that's too bad! i loved that lil pot of stew they had in the igloo. it was super charming and the music was so special. for a game that thrives on seasonal shifts you'd think they would keep it.

They didn't have the igloos in the same way in any games after the original, but when campers visited in the winter in NL they'd be in igloos instead of tents! I did always miss the random igloo popups and games from AC, but having them in NL in some way was still cozy and gave me the same comfy vibes since the music was just a slightly updated version of the original. They also still had the pot of stew if I remember correctly. Unfortunately they weren't implemented in Wild World or City Folk from what I remember.

You should listen to the whole soundtrack from the first Animal Crossing, then. The music is vastly different compared to what it turned into over the years. I miss that kind of music. Especially 1PM.
