Does anyone else here despise Autumn in AC? Just me?

Okay so I've been playing Animal Crossing for almost 13 years now, starting with AC:GCN back in Jan 2008. One thing that has bothered me every single year and continues to bother me now is how much I really hate Autumn in this game.

I don't mind it too much irl, I like cooler weather and that's when the bugs finally start to go away. But I just hate it in Animal Crossing because the grass and tree leaves start to turn yellow, or a nasty green-ish yellow. My town in NH was in June, all nice and green. I just switched to the current date and everything is that nasty green/yellow color and it just makes me so sad. I'm really tempted to either set my clock back to spring/summer when I play, or just not play the game at all (I've been known to take a hiatus from Animal Crossing during Autumn/Winter because I don't like how they look in AC for some reason).
I've seen Winter in this game and it looks really lovely. I just hate Autumn. The color scheme is not my forte, at all.

I actually like it! Just seeing the autumn stuff in-game makes me feel cozy and warm on a cool day. For whatever reason, it's giving me nostalgia as well. Though some of us here have not seen the later stages of fall so my opinion could change later down the line haha.

...I love it. I LOVE the colors and the holidays that happen in it. It's probably my favorite season in any AC game
I also cannot wrap my brain around not playing the game because you don't like the look of the season

I loved it!
I despise winter... It's fun for 5 days but afterwards it just gets boring, no bugs to catch, most of my island areas didn't match the cold weather, and most flowers don't look good with snow. I'm glad it's gone

For the past five years, I associated autumn with going back to campus (ugly, grey, industrial-style architecture) and avoiding attacks from Canada geese while getting to classes. Suffice to say, I can enjoy the season again.

i adore autumn! i even set my hemisphere to southern when i got the game at release, just so i could experience it sooner; my island is full of autumn seasonal furniture and warm, brownish hues; if anything, i got a bit sad when i saw the green trees of summer arrive this month. haha.

i'm neutral on autumn, just like i am with spring. summer is my favorite (maybe i'm biased because it's my favorite season irl) and winter is only fun for the first month, maximum. after that i just get bored of the plain color palette and i'm already not looking forward to having to clear a space solely for snowmen. autumn at least has pretty colors and some big events (harvest festival and halloween).

Is it just the transitioning of seasons, cause I can agree that's not the prettiest. Because once you NH people hit mid-end of fall, it'll get all orange to red. But right now, it's more of a transitional color..? (it's been awhile since I had fall)

Winter was the same when transitioning to Spring. There was a moment where the grass looked half dead, lol.

It's my favorite season. The sickly greens and pale yellows make me think of Halloween, my favorite holiday. I love everything about fall, especially the colors.

my island has orange and yellow flowers mainly, so l think the current grass suits it better than spring/summer

I also love autumn! I think the transitional green-yellow is not the prettiest but I don’t mind too much since I know the beautiful red/orange is coming soon

I love anything autumn: scenic landscapes, literature, music, nature...

Autumn based levels/worlds in video games especially, such as Click Clock Wood in Banjo-Kazooie, the Akkala region in BotW, Story of Seasons.

AC is no different. I love the shades of orange and red in late November and the mushrooms everywhere.

Autumn, to me, is a warm and nostalgic season. A time to reflect, a time of change....

Autumn is the BEST! My favorite season by far! Best colors, best holidays, best DIYs!! Just remember, it is only the transition of autumn, it's gonna get much more brown and red still.

I like it when everything is red, which is late November, but honestly I hate the snow and winter. It doesn't look nice next to dirt patches in previous games but I guess NH doesn't have problem.
And it lasts right until late Feb so the snow gets boring so fast. It's great in December but after nope

Autumn is my favorite season both in and out of AC. I love the colors of it! I also love the snow in winter. Spring is my least favorite season (it’s a dead zone in terms of fishing and YSB does nothing for me other than pan flutes and green leaf piles), which is funny cuz my main town is currently in spring

I like the seasonal changes. Variety is nice. The browning grass isn't my favorite shade, but the seasonal recipes match and make up for it. Can't wait for mushrooms!
