Does anyone else have this problem with their 3DS?

This has been an ongoing issue with my 3DS XL and I can't find any good answers on the internet so I figure I will ask here.

The date on my 3DS is often a day behind. For example, I played my 3DS before going to bed last night, and when I played my 3DS this morning, it still though it was Saturday at 10pm. Eventually, sometime in the day, it will figure out that the day is wrong and update to the correct time/date. It is frustrating though because I wanted to walk to a Starbucks this morning to get streetpasses/play coins, but the game won't let me have them because it still thinks it's Saturday (and I already got streetpasses/play coins on that day).

Has anyone experienced this? More importantly, does anyone know how to fix it? Turning the system on/off doesn't seem to help, and leaving it sitting in sleep mode doesn't fix it directly either.

I'm not sure when the clock fixes itself. Generally it is correct at night, but then wrong through the morning.

Thanks!

I would just make sure the ds system is upto date and go into your settings and then put the time and date to the correct time and day, monitior it to see if doing something spesific alters it or freezes it in a way, I would also maybe go talk to someone in a gaming shop about it

Might be best to back everything up on it (I think you can do that), save transfer tool as well. Format the 3DS. Update the system and it should be ok?

Could be a battery problem? I've had phones do similar before.

I checked a few more things: my system is up to date, and I don't seem to have a battery issue.

However, I was impatient this morning and just reset the date to the correct time. That was a BAD idea. I booted up Pokemon shuffle and tomodachi life and got "yelled at" by the program for changing the date. But the weirdest part was this: I have the correct real life time on my system clock now, but my tomodachi life island clock seems to be 12 hours off. For example, when I checked it today at noonish, it thought it was midnight and the island was all dark.

Has anyone else stopped by Gamestop with a tech problem like this? Do they charge you if you want to ask questions? Are they helpful?

DON'T go to Gamestop for potential hardware problems. They aren't trained for this sort of thing.

Just send it in to Nintendo, if anything.

That is weird, that has not happened to me, maybe you should send it to nintendo, they could probably fix it. :)

This may sound dumb, but are you sure that it's on the right side of am/pm (like putting in 7:00 vs 19:00)? Cause that might be the problem.

I understand your struggle, I have that general problem with time but for different reasons xD
My 3ds will turn off if I so much as tap it iin the wrong spot, I can never get past January 4th x.x
My 3ds doesnt charge that well either ( not suree if its the 3ds or the charger)

A couple days ago I thought this was the case, especially given that my system is often 12 hours off from where it needs to be. While I would have been happy to have found a simple solution, I would have been a little embarrassed, haha.

Unfortunately that isn't the case. :(

A couple days ago I reset the system clock, and then I went into my time sensitive games and reset their individual clocks. It all seems to be keeping time now, but I have no way of knowing it won't revert back to the old issue. Also... resetting the time even once REALLY made my games angry. For example, in Tomodachi life, I haven't gotten morning donations/shop restocks for a couple days now. Hopefully it will stop punishing me soon!
