I used my Amiibo cards to move in some villager. Unfortunately, one moved exactly next to my house. I tried so many times to make him move, but all the other cards that I use to kick him out move into the same spot? I tried it at least with 10 other villager but they all move in the exact same place...
Does anyone else have that problem?

Does your town have a lot of paths? Villagers will no longer move onto paths so long as there's a space elsewhere, otherwise I'm not sure.

Actually none! ^^ I have a lot of blank space since I just restarted my game...

Ahh then all I can suggest is to put a pattern where you don't want them to move, it worked for me in my second town :3.

Good luck with your restart ^^, if you need fruits let me know.

Thank you ^^ The only problem is that as soon as the villager is moving next to my house another one is moving in! So I cannot really put anything down! :) But I will do it in other places! Thanks!

I had this with Stitches.
Ended up scanning him in several times because his house wouldn't move.

Bit strange they move straight in though. Their plot should appear first.
And on the day their plot appears you can do the "plot reset" trick where you start with a new character, find the plot and if you're not happy with it, reset, and if you are happy with it, continue with the new character until you can save.

It took several attempts to get a house not move right onto where the old villager house was. but eventually it worked.
Definitely put paths down before hand to stop them going in places you really don't want too.

This update did something strange to plot spawning locations...

I would get that villager to move then put patterns on all the places you don't want villagers to move in.
