Does anyone else family think this game is mad?

My family always look disproving of my running commentary

"I think he likes cucumber, he's always singing about it"
"Oh gosh, it's almost toy day and I have no idea what my villagers want!"
"I don't think you should take a shovel into a night club"
"I'll take my beard off first"
"Caught another snowflake!"
"I caught a golden stag once" *sigh*
"I wasn't even near you that time, you're just paranoid" (to a bug)
"get your own damn cherry" (standing right next to a cherry tree and a cheeky villager asked me to get her one)
"Glad I got to the hairdressers before it shut, my hairs a mess!" (I hadn't played in ages)

So is it just me?

Hahaha! My boyfriend has to hear the running commentary from me! "oh haha look at what Julian said!" "oh my gosh Skye is so cute!" "oh yes!! sloppy chair!" etc. etc. ^^
