So, me being the weeb that I am, I kind of want to know how many other cosplayers are lurking around here.

I personally cosplay for Tik Tok and am prepping for my second ever convention next summer.

Those are some nice cosplays! It's been many years since I've been to a convention, but when I used to go regularly I always cosplayed as Nyu/Lucy from Elfen Lied. I don't know where the pictures are since it's been so long, though.

I used to cosplay a long time ago, but I found as an overall culture it wasn't very pleasant and full of a lot of mean people who were obsessed with Instagram, encouraged group dieting, would befriend based on clout etc. Also I absolutely detest the actual making costumes part, and I don't like having my photo taken. So I gave it up!

Cosplays are a lot of work and money so kudos to those who do it.

I do! I haven't cosplayed in a while, and I was supposed to cosplay a human Zacian for a convention coming up this weekend, buuut... I totally didn't do it. Sooo-

Anyway, I've cosplayed a few, each time getting better:

uhhh, probably a few others I'm forgetting. Not a big anime person so they're typically video games or other TV shows.

Years ago I made myself a Star Trek red shirt based on the original series, and I've worn it for ST Day (Sept. 8th) and Halloween. I haven't been to any conventions but if I ever get the chance I'll make sure I get myself a nicer ST shirt lol (preferably a blue shirt, I've always liked the science/medical uniforms).

Also this will probably sound super weird to most people, but I absolutely love fuzzy animal suits and I would love to have one of my own! I know most people are like disgusted with furries for some reason but I think they're adorable, would love to cosplay as an animal at some point :>

this has been a huge issue for me, as i've always seen myself as not having the 'right body shape' to do cosplay, but i've found that the conventions i go to are SUPER supportive of everyone who cosplays, and i assure you that it doesn't matter how you look, as long as you're enjoying yourself, that's all that matters

do what you want and if anyone stands in your way, eat them

I've been wanting to cosplay Yukine from Noragami! I just bought his hat and now I'm looking for his light blue hoodie. I can find it on Amazon but I don't know of it's gonna be good quality. RIP.

I'm not cosplaying but I like helping to make costumes. I can sew and modify patterns. I also made wings once, it took hours trimming all those feathers.

Yeah, I mentioned in another thread in the past that I’ve cosplayed as Qrow Branwen from RWBY and Saitama from One Punch Man before. I would absolutely love to cosplay again and don’t have any fear of doing so, but I just can’t find a venue near me where I can reasonably go to.

I haven't but I would love to. The main reason I haven't is because I want to create my own costume.... but I have absolutely no skills for it... I can't sew, I don't even have a sewing machine
