Do your parents/guardians hug you?

my mom loves to hug me and run her fingers through my hair, she likes giving me massages whenever i need it. same goes with dad, except he likes rubbing my hand and giving me pats on the head. my parents are really, really awesome so ?? i totally love giving my parents hugs. they deserve it!

I'm not the touchy-feely type, not big on hugging. Being touched/hugged doesn't necessarily bother me but I usually won't initiate it. I think it's nice to hug someone I haven't seen in a while, that's about it.

My Dad is the opposite, he always gives me a hug and a peck on the cheek before I leave even though we see each other fairly often. My Mom and I rarely see each other and we don't hug, even when I was younger, she's more like me, just not the type and we're not close.

I don't really hug my mom every day, I hug her every so often and usually she'll initiate it, but I don't really hug anyone but my boyfriend too often, I do hug my friends on occasion usually if I haven't seen them in a while or something but I am just not a really big hugger. I hug people for comfort if they are sad or something too, so I mean, I don't really hug without a purpose I guess. I like hugging my boyfriend in a romantic and intimate sense, so I mean most other hugs are kind of weird for me.

I don't live by either of my parents, so the times we get together I do hug them. When I lived with them and saw them every day, we didn't hug every day. I was fine with that. I'm not much of a huggy person, but I'll hug my friends and family when I do see them, which isn't very often.

I think hugs are so weird and I always feel really uncomfortable. I don't see my parents often so when I do we usually hug at the airport and then hug on the day I leave. My mom is super affectionate and will kiss my head a lot and be generally annoying. I love my parents but I will probably not initiate a hug or anything like that. My dad likes to randomly shake me or pat me on the head. Or if I'm just minding my own business he'll grab my hand and crack all my knuckles. I think that's his way of showing affection LOL.

I hug my mom, but not my dad. Probably because my dad was gone from my life for a few years, when I was a kid, due to my mom getting a restraining order, but then my dad beat her in court so...anyway it feels weird hugging him (I did hug him when he got me a laptop, though) or telling him that I love him, then again I don't tell my mom that either, although they both tell me, though my mom only says it in text messages.
I barely see either of my parents though, maybe once a month each...

I'm 28 and super close to my mom, so we're always really huggy kissy. I hug my dad when I see him (he works oversees) and I do an awkward "hey buddy" half-hug pat with my sister, because we're really weird like that
