Do your dreamies ever change?

My favorite villager changes from time to time, but since I have my dreamie now (Henry), I'm not sure I'll have another one any time soon. Unless I start going through the general AC villager list again...

It's been several years. Felicity is still my number one. I don't think that will ever change. I still keep her in New Leaf! I really love her.

Depends. I have two (Marshal and Maple) that I have to absolutely have in the game for the game to feel like my game if you know what I mean. The rest I tried to rotate but ended up loving and not letting go. There are some though that I thought would be permanent but I got tired of or didn’t click with so I ended up letting them go. I’m still confused.

I have a lot of favorite/dream villagers, and that's a generally fairly stable list. I've liked a lot of them for a long time, but then sometimes I suddenly see something I like about a villager that I didn't before and they get added to the list.

As far as residents go, I never repeat villagers from one town to the next, unless I move the villager out of one town to move them into another. Not interested in duplicates/having the same villager multiple times. So, in that sense, my dream villagers change because my towns all have their own unique list of residents.

But generally, my towns have a theme that they're based around, and I choose the residents based around how they fit the particular theme. Once I've decided that, I don't really change my mind much, but it happens. Sometimes I find a villager that would fit the theme better, or I simply get tired of a particular villager (Muffy is the most prominent example from my personal experience) and I replace them with someone else. It's not a frequent occurrence, but yeah.

Yes because you meet new villagers. In New Leaf it was Punchy who was my all time favorite. Still love him, but then I met Erik on an island tour and he's my favortite now. Both lazy's and both talking about the bugs. So I don't want Punchy anymore in my village.

And that goes for a lot of villagers who were favorites before. I've met a whole bunch of new ones and although I still have some from my NL village I'm glad it's not all the same

I like to have a plan on which villagers I want to have (I actually note down villagers I really like), but in ACNH I ended up listing only around 3 sure ones (right now it’s Sherb, Ruby, and Bea), the rest of the slots are a big Vibe Check.

I’ve been thinking whether to revisit some of my old dreamies in ACNL like Hugh and Kidd, but part of me wants a fresh set of villagers.

Yeah! Beau was my lazy dreamie in NL but now i don't like his design as much, and i saw punchy and fell in love w/ him

Why yes. I left behind Filbert for Raymond, Boris for Murphy, Diana for Judy, Sprocket for Rudy, and Chrissy for Cashmere.

I have all except Cashmere, and she's super stubborn to get. I have been searching everywhere for her. No luck so far.

(I'd like to get her myself, no need to PM me and say that you have her. I like the journey of getting villagers the hard way.)
