I use my real name that everyone calls me on first character because it would feel weird being called something else as it feels like they are talking to you anyways.

but I make more characters if I want to use other names or genders

real name (kaitlyn), not super in love with my name but it feels more natural than nicknames/original characters/etc. my first few islands were nicknames though and it felt sorta weird to me lol.

I don't want to associate a fun fantasy character with myself, so I always use made up names

plus I don't really like my name, anyways : P

I use some variation of my real name, like my name is tiffani starr but my in game is tiffy. In previous games it's been Tiff, Tip, Tipper because those are names people actually call me. I don't think anyone outside of TBT has used my real name in years. My family hasn't used my real name since i was a child.

I go by my real life nickname/what my family calls me. It started because of character limits in the 90s and 2000s but I stuck with it.

Just another version of my name. My name is Emily but my character is called Emmsey. Discussed this before on another thread but my character is male however I am female. I don't really enjoy making characters that represent me so have always historically used the opposite sex.

I used my real name in previous games, but I use a nickname for this, it makes me more mysterious somehow.
