Do you use your museum rooms?

I use them for storage. They're kind of silly as anything else, really. I mean, dream visitors can't see them, only people you invite over can, and even then, you can't give them anything from your museum unless they leave. So it's pointless as anything but storage.
same for storage: i have all the fortune cookie items and its cool to see them instead of tucking them away. but since its not a part of my town theme, i am glad i can tuck them away where only i can see them.
also sometimes i have room ideas i wanna test out too, and it's just cumberaome to take down an old room in a house, so this is an easy space to do it in.

Absolutely. Two of them are my closets. One is for accessories, one is for clothes. They're super organized, too. I have one room for my Streetpass balloons, and my last room is just a room I change up every once in a while. I'm obsessed with the HHA score on my house, so it's nice to have a room that I can decorate how I want, without having to worry about ruining my score.

I was actually super disappointed to find out that the museum can't be visited in a dream. The museum should have been within the town so that it would be more fun to decorate and not just serve as a storage space. Like, what's the point of having your own exhibit if no one else can see it? Might as well just give us more closet space for storage >.<

I've got one full of gyroids (which I'm probably going to dump), one full of fortune cookie stuff that's really noisy (like the gyroid room should be), and two full of partial skeletons that I'm making miniatures of. Not sure what I'm going to do with them, but hey, they're in the catalog. I gotta do something with these things until I finally get the last two torsos and a skull.
Right?! Like it would be cool to allow people to walk your museum and see what you've donated/how full it is and visit your displays on the upper floor.
I want to use it to decorate extra rooms but I can't think of anything right now. Like maybe a customized set, just for fun. I don't have many items in storage atm and I'm planning on clearing out the rooms with saplings and landscaping items.
I set up my first museum room as a Nintendo museum when I first got the game. And then I quickly lost interest in the Nintendo items and now I just use them for storage. And I'm finding that even the secret storage in my house is getting quickly filled, though I don't really need to keep all the furniture I'm getting from WA villagers, since I can always scan them later.

i have one room as a closet, two for unorderables, and one to hoard my landscaping stuff....
I've never used mine because my storage is always well-kept and organised so I've never had to cram anything in there. I do like the idea of displaying unorderable sets in there though, I should probably do that instead of just putting them in storage or selling it off. I never visit the museum rooms though so they'll probably be forgotten again after a while.

I have one room that I use as an actual "museum" room and put all of the things i get from Gulliver and the other three I use for storage :3 Can't think of anything else I'd use the others for.

I definitely use them for storage. Not really interested in making exhibits for show.

Don't use them now. In my old town, I used to use them as a storage space for my bush starts though.

Yup. I've got my 7-eleven shop in one room, a cafe in another, a boutique style room with all my gracie/unorderable clothes displayed and the last is a beach club. I might take the botique away and put up a pub instead.
