Dumb question here that probably everyone already knows... how can you tell your friendship level when you use the megaphone??? I would love to try that.

If you're nearby the villager whose name you're calling, call their name and they turn around and wave or bow at you, that means your friendship level is quite high.

Also if they just widen their eyes and look around, it means you hardly know them.
