If the store is open I'll always sell inside, however when it is closed I'll just use the box. I like to fish at night so its useful to be able to sell them when the store is closed. However, I'm so surprised how many people actually save all their fish/bugs for CJ and Flick! I never do that, it's just a bonus to me if I happen to get some expensive fish/bugs on the day that they are in town!

I use it after Nook's Cranny closes, but only sell the cheaper stuff like shells and common bugs and fish. I don't tend to play later than the 11pm hour so holding onto some expensive stuff isn't an issue.

Other - I use it to shave off the minute or two it takes to go into nooks & sell. If the bugs/fish are over 3500 bells it's best to save them for flick/cj respectively anyway. Anything else is fair game for a quick dropoff.

Only when the shop is closed, I find it pretty useful as I dislike my inventory and island having clutter but I don't play during the day much. I really wish the night ordinance would return.

I will use it if I'm out late night fishing and I'm lazy to wait until morning to sell.

Never. I'm not taking that price cut.

Also, I rarely play outside of Nook Cranny's opening hours. Sometimes I'll turn the game on a little before 8am, but I rarely play past 10pm.

Not gonna lie...I am lazy and will sometimes drop off a full inventory of things in the box even when the store is open. (usually cheap stuff or junk I wanna get rid of). It's also useful because I like that they just automatically deposit all the money in my bank account.

I never really used it until recently when my friend told me you could sell stuff after nooks cranny closed, so when I'm gardening at night, instead of throwing away extra base flowers, I sell them in the box. Stuff like fish bugs, fossils, etc. I will save for the 100% return though haha c:

I use it like a trash can when I don't feel like walking in the shop. Sometimes it's really nice when the small stuff adds up.

Often times, I'll use it to make quick sales while I'm grinding for nook miles. If I have to sell 20 weeds... I'll use the box. If I need to sell shells in bulk, I'd probably go inside, but if I needed to sell just one or two, I'd be more likely to use the box.

Really, it comes down to how much time I have/how lazy I am.

As an active night owl, I use it very frequently. I only sell inside if i need the bells now, but most times I play their most likely closed lol.

I only sell inexpensive things to the dropoff box if I'm in urgent need of inventory space at the time. I usually just throw high price items I plan to sell the next day into my attic instead.

I used it all the time when I first started (was always up and playing between 10 p.m. - 3 a.m. terraforming). Shop was closed so bugs, fish, and random assortments of flowers were cluttering my island and in the way so I plopped them in the box.

Now I haven't been using it at all. Need all the bells I can get. 👀

i haven’t and i don’t plan to - i just dump stuff outside until they reopen :P

I’ve paid off all my loans so I don’t really have a big need for bells anymore. I put everything in except expensive bugs and fish (2,000+), which I always save for Flick and CJ anyways.

I just can’t be bothered to stack everything outside and wait for the next day.

I always use it, it's so convenient that the money is deposited into your abd rather than juggling bells around in your inventory. I also kinda like seeing how much I've made so far that day.

I play late at night a lot of times, and then I will use it to clear out my inventory if it's full

but in general I don't use it

I.....didn't realize there was a profit loss.....I use it exclusively bc Timmy & Tommy talk too much....

Early game I sold everything when the store was closed. My 2nd island gets played late at night.
With more storage now I only sell low price bug/fish and things for Nook miles.
Today I made 500K selling fish to C.J.
