I usually don't and I try to avoid it but if I do time travel I only use it if Re-tail was closed, I missed an event by a few days or to speed up pwp's.
I rarely time travel, it can make villagers move out :/
Nope, I'm not really an impatient person (until I'm waiting for a taxi) and I don't like to risk losing dreamies. Plus, I think it's cool that the game plays in real time because that's a feature I haven't encoutered in a lot of other games.
I do. I bought the game the day it was released here and I've time traveled since day one. I cannot stand to play the game without time traveling. I've tried, trust me.. I immediately got bored and quit the game for several months til I picked it up and played like I normally did again. I wish I could play it as it was intended, but I just can't find any fun in it no matter what I try, soo..
Maybe someday I'll give it another shot, but for now I'm happy with how I play it. I only travel day by day, I never skip days. I get all my stuff done while taking my time and enjoying it.
Also, I don't see it as cheating at all since it's a feature included in the actual game. I can't stand people who put others down for doing it. You paid for the game, you play it however you want!
I time travel all the time, i'm kind of impatient lmao. I never used to though, like in original AC and Wild World, even my first town in New Leaf, i never TTed, but when i started my new town recently it was just like, i had so much before i don't wanna take months to get back to where i was! ;; Also my hair was a disaster
It's funny, i planned on just playing normally after i unlocked everything, but then i wanted to get rid of some horrible villagers i had, and breed flowers, and blahblahblah.
And now i just sort of do it all the time ^^;
I don't really think of it as cheating so much as just kinda a different playstyle, tbh. That's just my (probably biased) opinion, though lmao
I time travel on my main town, but won't be doing it on my other.
I don't think my use of it is that extreme, though? I time travel one day forward sometimes (usually to finish a pwp, get someone to finally move out, or to finish a remodel), and then travel back to the correct day. I've never done more than one day at a time, though, and always go back to the correct day. I'm a little impatient, but not too bad, haha.
I time travel to participate in events I miss and to move out villagers that are already in the process of moving.Once in a while I'll TT to get a non-moving villager to move.I've been using the same method for the past couple of years and I've never lost a villager.Time travel is not cheating,it's part of the game but if it's overused I think it can certainly taint the experience. It's up to each individual player to decide how much they want to TT or if they don't want to TT at all.
I do but I only do if I'm trying to move someone out, finish a pwp, or finish a remodel/building of a store. I used to time travel a lot in my old town but now I'm trying time travel only if I need to.
I only time travel so I can play multiple in-game days in one real time day.
I got a daily routine in my game and it makes my playtime pretty short and I'm the kind of person who has a ton of free time. I rather "cheat" so I can play a game I bought more rather than lay in bed doing nothing.
I also keep track of the date I last played on. So if it's been a month since i last played it I can change my clock to the day after last time I played so I can consistantly play each and every in-game day. As if I didn't stop playing at all
I rarely TT. I've only done it for bugs I've missed, moving a few hours back or forward for store hours opening and KK Slider on Saturday, or for moving a villager out. Even then, I try to play as naturally as possible. I only ever TT one day at a time or a few hours at a time, and if I miss an event, too bad. And even with villager moving, unless I have offered them to someone else, I let them move in their own timing.
I do sometimes. Mainly to a moveout date that a villager said if I want them out faster, but even then I only go one day at a time. I try not to do it too often because it ruins my mayor's tan and I have alot of bamboo around town so it grows wayy too much if I do ><
I used to time travel in my main town a lot because I'm one of those super crazy people who likes their town to develop really quickly, but then gets bored super fast! However, since I started uni I've had less time to play ACNL and I've given up my time travelling tendencies. Needless to say, it's been tough but I'm still enjoying my town.
It's not cheating and we're all free to play how we like. Just my opinion, anyways.
I don't time travel, I am always scared I am going to mess something up. I wish you could have two ordinances at the same time though, keeping the shops open later would be perfect for me, but i'm too stubborn to give up my beautiful town ordinance.
I do not time travel, because I like the slower pace of the game. The only time I have was after I stopped playing for 2 years. I was hoping to minimize damage to my town, so I went back to the last day I had played, checked on everyone, then made jumps of 3-4 weeks until I got to the correct day. Since then, I've stayed with the actual game clock.
I used to but I found that I got really bored and fustrated with the game which always lead me to resetting my saves :c - Now I just prefer to play in real time.
