I went back to April to try and get the DIYs I missed, and when I'm ready to TT back forward I'm afraid I will lose villagers I don't have amiibo cards for.

Villagers won't move out unless they talk to you about it first.

Looking it up, most people seem very certain this is the case, so I am HOPING that we are all correct.
Just now seeing where someone TTd 40+ YEARS HOLY COW; I didn't think it would let anyone go that far.

Someone said in another thread that when you ignore a thought bubble regarding moving, it will go to another villager the next day. Basically if you go forth a month and someone wanted to move out, that thought bubble will appear on a random villager.

Ahhh, I can't wait to see that tested! I will see if I can look up videos or something. That would be REALLY nice. Like the trick for the campsite villagers.
