Do you store items or sell them?

re-orderable items, i sell. i used to horde them all for the future but after saving them in my closet for quite some time, i realized i had a problem. i keep items that i think i will for sure use in a house or something, though.

i even sell unorderables if i don't find them to my liking. /gasp.

I only store unorderables and certain clothing, hats and accessory items.

My storage is full so I sell things that I don't really want or need, except things that you can't re-order from the catalog. I have a problem getting rid of clothing, though. I always think "what if I want to wear that tomorrow?!" even though I only change my character's clothes about once a week lol

I ended up just selling a ton of my gyroids today to make room in my museum for other exhibits. I can't say I miss them nearly as much as I thought I would.

If it can be reordered, I sell it. I keep items that can't be reordered, but only one of each. My museum exhibit rooms are used for gyroid storage. I use the dressers and Post Office of my three alts and my mayor's Post Office for storage. That leaves my mayor's dresser free for turnips, items to give villagers, clothes I want to wear and so on. If I ever decide to collect all the villager's pics I'll have to use my 2nd town for storing those.

I do both but I've come to really see how much of the things I hoard (unorderables included) are just cluttering my storage and making up space so I kinda love selling and trading, it gives me an excuse to get off my lazy arse and actually get rid of my junk. I hoard waaaaay too much otherwise and always wind up with more than I need.

I usually store them until I get annoyed and go "this is getting out of control omfg" and try to organize my storage. Then I just sell everything I can and regret it later.
