Splatoon do you still play splatoon 2 even though smash come out?

I've been playing a hell of a lot more Smash than Splatoon nowadays. I've sorta completed everything I want in Splatoon, like single-player, Octo expansion, gear etc., so I've switched to Smash to complete some more in that game. I will eventually come back to Splatoon though.

Not really, usually during Splatfest for the fun. I do intend on playing the one this weekend though! Go team pancakes!

Is it weird to say that I spent more time into Splatoon 2 than is Smash so far? Because this is the case.

I mean I'm not much of a Smash guy to be honest. I like it but I get bored of it very quickly after the initial release hype died. While I haven't played Splatoon 2 much recently either I still enjoy it a lot when I play it. Looking forward to the last splatfest but also not because you know... It's the last one

So, I thought I'd neglect Splatoon when Ultimate came out, but I ended up doing the opposite. Now I'm poop at Smash. ;-;

Not really anymore. I used to before I got ultimate, but now Ultimate's number 1 playtime wise, and splatoon 2 (which was number 1 and still is number 2) might never get the spotlight of being number 1 again.


EDIT: It's number 1 again, after i got octo expansion and played more splatoon after that...

I still play Salmon Run with my girlfriend along with a bunch of randoms. I just let my kid play Smash, even buying another copy so she can have her own game, but she still ends up playing Splatoon.

To be honest, I didn't enjoy SSB Ultimate so much as I thought I would, ended up playing
even more Splatoon.
