I'm curious if you guys still like to listen to the in-game music or if you listen to your own now while playing.
In the beginning I loved NL's music, but the longer I invested in the game, the more I got tired of it. And unfortunately, because there is no setting to have sound effects but no music, you get stuck listening to it, unless you don't care about hearing things like pings.
I've figured out how to fish without needing the sound, but there would be times I'd miss pings because the villager was behind something and I didn't see them, so I relied on the ping sound to know it was there.

I just wish that with the WA update, we got more/new music or something too. Or a 'sound effects only' option.
Just me?

The music is mostly ambient in nature so I really don't mind it much. Some of them I still really enjoy hearing, particularly the early morning and late evening ones. i think the only one that irks me a bit is the Able Sisters'. When I'm working on new clothing it can take an hour or more and hearing that same song can be a tad irritating after a while.

I like the music when it rains because it rains so rarely in my towns, so it's nice to hear the music-box style. I just get tired of hearing the same music over and over, especially because I tend to play at the same time every night, so I hear the same 1-2 songs all the time.
It'd be cool if the music changed seasonally or something.

I still really like the music. It's become nostalgic to me after the last couple years. However, I time travel to certain times of the day to hear the music for that hour. I really like the evening and the middle of the night music. I need uchi, cranky and snooty pwps so it's a win win lol

I understand that. Seasonal changes would actually be a really good idea for a future game. I tend to mix things up when I play by playing at different times. Maybe you could try that?

I got SO SICK of the WW soundtrack when they repeated it for CF.

Now I'm kinda tired of New Leaf's soundtrack. It's not awful yet. I do still love the raining version!

i dont think i will ever get sick of the animal crossing soundtrack
sometimes even play a playlist of it when im doing homework, very relaxing imo

Well, I still like the music, especially when it's raining or snowing, however, I mostly listen now to
my own music while playing. I also have to confess that I sometimes miss the music from Wild World.
Compare to New Leaf, Wild World has more soundtracks I enjoyed to listen to.

I like the 2am and 5 am music and night island. The only music that really bothers me is the art section of the museum.

I honestly don't mind it, I don't play with loud volume anyways when I play unless I'm catching sharks/rare fish. The only music I crank it up for is the rain/snow music, because I really enjoy it. Only the T&T Emporium music really irks me, so I'll just dial down the sound when I go in to shop. =]

I mostly have it off unless I'm fishing or catching "sounds bugs" lol. Not a fan of that kind of instrumental and the town tune is almost never on so...

I love the New Leaf music. It's probably my favorite in the whole series. The midday music can get stale because that's when I mostly play, but I'm far from sick of it. Then again, I'm also a huge fan of the more whimsical Nintendo music in general :)

I like the music in New Leaf overall. The only hours I really turn the volume down for are 9 and 10 pm. I liked the Wildworld music a lot, too; but my all-around favorite is the soundtrack from the Gamecube version.

Not as much as I used to. I never liked the music more than ACWW/ACCF's anyway. I still like a select few, like 11AM, however.

I don't really pay much attention to the music. I do like it when it is really late or raining though. I have tted to 1 or 2am to catch bugs and it always sounds pretty then. I also like the Halloween and Christmas event music. I feel like they fit the events really well and help give them a festive feel.

I find the "music" to be mostly intrusive. A slider type control for effects and music would be great. Now, get off my lawn!
