Do you still get streetpasses?

Never have, but then again I don't really take my DS to places other than when I'm with my boyfriend (he's as obsessed with ACNL as I am), or to the airport. I probably never will get one, to be honest.

I've worked during the summer at a kid's theme park (LEGOLAND) since 2015, and I've seen a drastic drop in the number of streetpasses I get in a working day- my DS is in prime position in the centre of the park in my apron, but I only got one or two a week last summer. No one plays Animal Crossing anymore it seems- last one of those was several years ago.

Outside of my summer job, I don't get any. Too small a town.

In my home country (NZ) I have gotten none. It wasn’t until I went to Japan in January that I carried it around with me and I managed to fill up my entire street pass on animal crossing. I think it has definitely died down a little though.

I got acnl really late, so I would only get like 1 pass every so often.

Although now I don't get any unless my cousin comes over.

I still take my 3ds everywhere and it's only very rarely that I get a streetpass. Sadly, it's never happened much to begin with, even when the Nintendo zones were still up. Also the only streetpasses I get are for Pok?mon games and never AC :[

I got one recently, aside from the ones from my second ds, but it was the first time in about a year or two. Unfortunately I joined late and have only been playing for about 3 years, so I don't even know how often people were even getting these before. ​

Nope, not anymore. The last time I recall getting a lot of streetpasses was back when the game was still fresh. However most of my streetpasses actually came from an overnight trip I went on with my class, most of us had brought our 3Ds because it was going to be a long coach ride and we all needed some form of entertainment otherwise we probably would've lost our minds.

I live in Japan and you get a lot of streetpasses here, but I also live in a big city so I think it has more to do with what kind of area you live in.

Back when the game first came out, in my old cartridge, I used to get a bunch.
now though, especially since I play on and off, I never get any.

I’ve only owned my most recent 3Ds for six-ish months, and in that time I’ve only gotten one streetpass. Ironically, it was the day I received it as a gift, at a local diner extremely late at night. I wasn’t able to pin point who it was I received it from, despite there being only one other group of people there at the time. But since then, absolutely nothing. I’ve even brought my 3Ds through airports and incredibly busy cities with no luck at all.

It’s genuinely disheartening knowing that nobody in my vicinity carries their 3Ds around anymore (rightfully so tbh), but it won’t stop me from trying! I wanna fill my Happy Home Showcase back up to the way it used to be!!

I get them but only from my 2 friends who have and use their 3ds' still. I haven't gotten a random streetpass since 2019 I think I always have it on me and charged!! I'm hopeful it'll happen!!

I brought my 3ds into the city a few months ago while I was out shopping for the day and I was so shocked when I had 3 notifications telling me I had met 3 people.

I was shocked even if I was to find 1 other person.
