do you still buy cd's?

I had this question in my head when I was watching the price is right and there was a lady gaga new cd commercial and im all like "Pfffft, why not download it?" and im all like !!!! theres a GREAT poll question :D

Heck yes! Screw downloads, nothing can replace physical media. Also, it's superior sound quality unless you're listening to FLAC or APE. So no, you're not living under a rock if you still buy CDs -- you are getting superior sound and a physical product with liner notes, etc.

Well, that is true. But I agree with you completely, even though anybody I would know would just go on iTunes or Rhapsody.

This
I'd rather have that physical copy thanks.

I've made the dumb mistake of getting a digital copy of an album to later fork over $$$ for the physical product... so now I pretty much never buy digital unless the price of the physical is too high.

Speaking of downloading illegally, that is an excellent marketing strategy for musicians. I put up my Watercolors of the World CD on Mininova through their "Premium Download" service, through which they guarantee that it will always have at least one seeder. Already been downloaded 1000+ times with absolutely no advertising... it doesn't always generate sales, but hey, exposure is exposure.

But Kidz Bop can kiss my ass a million times, I hate that *censored.2.0*.
OMG I hate that too! I always see commercials for it and they must be up to Kidz Bop 22 or something because there are way too many. Plus, if I am going to by a song I want it sung by the actual artist who can sing well, not by little children.

Anyways, I sometimes buy CDs but I mostly download, my mom still almost always buys CDs though.
