My native tongue is Russian, but I learned English when I was very little. I REALLY want to learn Portuguese!
I only know one word.
Caju. It means cashew.

I'm only fluent in English dagnabbit! Am I the only one here who is only fluent in English?
No, the others just lied.
I am starting to think maybe some are lying, but I'm not about to jump to conclusions. It's just that some people say they're fluent in 3 languages. It's one thing to know some of a language, it's another thing to be fluent.

Well I did state in the opening post that you only had to know basics to hold up a short conversation and/or get around. There were people who did state that they know little of a language though.

But one thing I have only heard about is finally coming to me, every noob is trying to learn Japanese. Honestly it's worthless unless your surrounded by those who speak it or have a Japanese heritage. Like I'm pretty sure Tyeforce lives somewhere with native Chinese/Japanese speakers (I can't tell the difference). But wanting to be able to understand and read anime and mangas are no reasons to learn a language.

i speak english, and know a handful of spanish words, nothing much. i couldn't string a sentence together if my life depended on it.

i wish i could learn portuguese.

Well, by posting it onn an online discussion board, you kind of did.

And while it was indeed a statement, you meant to say "did I ask for your opinion"
