Do you prefer playing ACNL alone or with friends?

I prefer to play alone, when my friends come over I get a little worried when I lose them even though I know they won't do anything owo; I do love playing with friends though! I do every couple days, we walk around town, talk to villagers, play tours, and check out all my shops. It gets a little boring after an hour, but I'm totally fine with it and I love having others to my town uwu

As much as I love playing with friends, alone is just more enjoyable as I feel like I can do whatever I want and it's way more relaxing. I tend to do landscaping and talk to villagers the most, and those are things you do alone typically. I feel I can't really get fully into the game with other players quq

I guess I, myself, play alone too. Of course you'll want play alone to decorate, upgrade, and progress through New Leaf. You can't do any of that when friends are over. In fact, I don't let my friends come over until my town looks nice.

I like doing both I suppose.. I guess it depends on what mood I am in. Playing with friends I feel like can be so much fun, and all of the adventures and memories I have with friends are the best ones I have had in the game...but it does take a bit more brain work in my opinion and I play ACNL to relax most of the time.. so for that reason I like playing by myself.. there are no obligations and I can just wonder around and not have to worry about communicating with another player what we are doing or worry about that kind of stuff if that makes sense? But then times I wanna be more active ...(or I am more awake) I wanna play with friends and enjoy time talking to other players and exploring the town and playing games with them (ones we make up or ones that are on the island). I mean some of the games other people have invented for when there is multi player are so much fun-like the "Hunger Games" one is probably one of my favorites... I mean it really just depends?

Yes, I agree. It's like a mood-swing. It depends on what you feel like doing.

Now that you mention it, yeah all those things are very important to my enjoyment of the game. If it wasn't for the trading forums, I don't think I would have gotten so obsessed with the game. I forgot that those things require other players. XD

Yeah! And I think you make a good point by mentioning forums specifically. In a ways, forums like these and others can definitely be seen as "multiplayer" extensions of the game itself.
