do you prefer keeping your nails long or short?

i guess i keep them long - i thought it was normal length until i saw how short my friend's nails were :/
but my long nails make my hands and fingers look lovely ~ people think i get a manicure or smt and they dont break easily so i can keep them for awhile
i dont keep em that long - more like a "medium" sort of height

I like keeping them as short as they can be and I always make sure to check them before playing my games. The last thing I want is to have nail marks on the circle pad/analog stick.

Long-ish I guess? I let them grow out until it gets a little bit hard to use a touch screen, then I cut them down to the fingertip. I hate it when they're that short but they grow out insanely fast if I don't.

I like my nails super long. People get weird about it though. I have people ask if they can feel my nails or if I can run my nails along their arms. But when they're short I feel like my fingers just look wrong lol. They've been long since 4th grade.

i keep the nails of my thumbs short deliberately though because it just feels weird it they're too long and i can't write on my phone properly lmao

Very short. It's got to the point now where even if they get a little long I can't stand it and have to cut them. I just find they look cleaner....and it would be too difficult in my job to carry off long nails, one of the kids would break them or they'd come off in a restraint and I'd be in agony. Not to mention the risk of scratching somebody

I have to keep them short, because I play guitar. They don't usually grow very long anyway, whenever I've tried to grow them in the past they've just grown out in a weird shape and then the end starts coming off. -_-

I suffer from Dermatillomania and OCD, so I'm always cutting and peeling off the skin around my nails and toes. It's horrible. I keep my nails very short.

Short. You cant ever do anything with long nails and i think unless youre a rich princess who doesnt have to do any housework or write anything then you can survive with long nails. Otherwise no. Gets on my nerves, randomly scratches people and is dirty imo.

It depends. If I wish to paint them I grow them at an ideal length, but whilst they are not painted I prefer to keep them fairly short so that they look neat.
