do you play with 3d on?

I've tried it a few times, but my eyesight isn't all that great so it looks rather blurry to me. I can only play for a few minutes before I get a headache. I also have trouble keeping my DS still and at a certain angle, so I just play normally. I have a XL but the main reason I bought it was because I wanted a big screen, not because it could do 3D.

I don't play with the 3D on... I've never played with it on long enough to experience it hurting my eyes, but even when I accidentally bump the switch and it turns on the screen just looks so wonky and messed up I turn it off right away. (I bought 3DS so I could continue playing games, not for the 3D function >

I had the 3D on all the time when I first got it and it never bothered me but now I mostly leave it off. I like the 3D in animal crossing though, it's quite nice

I never use it. It hurt my eyes and gives me a headache. I wouldn't have gotten my 3DS if I couldn't turn it off.

I can't even watch 3D movies really without leaving with a migraine. :/

Yeah I don't like using 3D on AC but I'll use it in other things like Legend of Zelda and in Super Mario games

The 3D usually hurts my eyes, so no, I don't use it that often.

Katrina's fortunes, however? I turn the 3D up as much as it'll go for that. It just looks so cool.

ive found that you need to be focused on useing the 3d perfectly for it to be good and it does work nicely! as i said be4 rly good for zelda but i tried it this morning again for animal crossing and while its still not as good as zelda the trees and the land are quite 3d and it is nice to use! jus gotta get used to the whole cross eyed thing erm >.< but its cool

Nope, though I do put it on every now and then if there' something special or extra nice to look at aha but I don't play with it regularly. The whole 3d thing is such a gimmick really.

3D is literally useless for everything. Movies, games, anything. Worthless. It's a horrible cash grab and will hopefully die out ASAP. I've not used it once seriously; I tested it with a couple games, laughed, then turned it off. I hate anything 3D, I refuse to see 3D movies -- it's hard on the eyes and it's too overstimulating at times. My eyes aren't the greatest, either. Of course, this is just my opinion, but I really do think 3D is worthless/a waste of money. I don't think they could ever improve on it enough to make it worthwhile. It's NEAT that you don't need glasses for this, but 3D is nowhere near my style. I just got this because I knew games were coming for it that I'd want, and I was right. xP

For some reason, 3D things just don't work for me. It just makes the screen look silly. I NEVER use it because it irritates my eyes after ten seconds.

which is also why I find "3D HD" to be the most ****ing stupid thing and any time someone tries to defend that I want to slap them across the face

Honestly this. God bless ya. (The only recent movie I would've even TRIED to see in 3D was Frozen; I think it might've looked neat. But 2D was stunning enough, pfft.)

I like to see how it looks every now and then, but I am always relieved when I turn it back off.

I forget about that feature most of the time. The only time I ever use it is if I remember and feel like seeing what a particular game looks like with it on. The novelty wears off pretty quick.

I don't use the 3D personally. I have headaches often, and the 3D seems to either cause a headache or amplify one I already had haha.

i use the 3d sometimes and it is eye straining
but apart from blindness my eyes cant get any worse
one time i played an entire hour of luigis mansion 2 with 3d on

I play with the 3D on sometimes.
I think it's a nice feature and it definitely works on Animal Crossing.
