• Good evening, everyone! We have an egg hunt announcement! An additional clue for egg #21 will be posted Monday at 6 PM EDT if it hasn't been found by then. The egg hunt will also be extended until Tuesday morning at 10 AM EDT.

do you play with 3d on?

i dont usually, i will normally turn it on if its something special like the a movie scene in fire emblem

just to see c:

It does not hurt my eyes, but I don't like having to sit in a perfect position to play, so I rarely use it.

I use the 3D for Zelda and I LOVE it
But for animal crossing it just doesn't even work like its pointless

I've thought about the way the 3d works and I realise you literally have to focus on being cross eyed... Once you've focused on being cross eyed and if you can keep the screen in the right spot the three d works but like I said it's basically pointless for new leaf but Zelda was designed around the 3d factor where animal crossing I don't think was

I'm the same way! Idk what it is about it, but it makes me feel terrible after a few minutes. 3D movies are the same way. (Not to mention it's uncomfortable wearing 3D glasses over regular glasses!)

hehe... I'm exactly the same as you with the wearing 3d glasses over regular ones. I always avoid 3d movies and I never use the 3d option on the 3ds either. I turned it on when I first got the console just to check it out and I was like, no thanks.

Never, but I cannot use it anyway as I am more or less blind in one eye. If my eye ever manages to recover, who knows? ;)

Maybe I need to make a standee telling people to flip their 3D on. I designed my whole town in 3D and it looks better with it on, lol.

nope never. and i tried it in other games, maybe im not holding the 3ds far enough away or at the right angle but it never looks right to me, and everything doubles ...

My eyes aren't the best so I don't play with 3d on, its too hard for me too see it/hold the 3ds in the right position.

Sometimes I do, if I really have nothing else to do. On normal circumstances though, I refrain from doing so. I'm very battery conscious and I would want to maximize my power as much as possible. Apart from that, the visual effects limit me to a very small angle which means I can't change my position while playing and I really don't like that.
