I think the only game I've ever played with 3D on for a notable time is Cave Story

sprite games>3D rendered games for 3D play imo

I don't. It hurts my eyes too much even at the lowest settings, and I don't need anything to make my already bad eyesight even worse. Plus the game doesn't seem as bright with the 3D on.

I have poor eyesight in one eye so 3D doesn't work very well for me, but I probably wouldn't use it even if I could. It sounds like kind of a pain to use from what I've heard other people say.

I'm the same way! Idk what it is about it, but it makes me feel terrible after a few minutes. 3D movies are the same way. (Not to mention it's uncomfortable wearing 3D glasses over regular glasses!)

it doesn't bother me too much amazingly enough, but it doesn't seem to really do anything notable at all either.


Like for example, going back above to my Cave Story post, I kind of very much enjoy the 3D for it since it gives it a sort of "pop-up book/stage set design" feel. Which considering you can probably do this with most 2D sprite-based games, is probably why I prefer for that than just making 3D rendered games even more 3D.

No, sometimes I might turn it on for a few minutes and then promptly switch it off.

I don't usually use 3D because you have to hold the 3ds at just the right angle or it doesn't work, and it gets annoying having to hold it perfectly still :-/
It doesn't bother my eyes or anything though, and sometimes I turn it on if I'm bored or want a new perspective on the game XD
