Going off to study Music at university this September! if i get the grades

oh wow that's so cool!!! i considered studying music in university but i just don't think i'm passionate enough to do that haha, my old cello tutor did though and she said it was amazing
she did a six month module on baroque ornamentation like i didn't even know there was six months worth of material on that subject lol
i'm sure you'll get the grades!

Aw haha. I'm really looking forward to it, except for maybe modules on Bach chorale writing, that's kind of killing me right now haha. Well, hopefully. I kinda messed up a few exams, and still have more to come. It sucks because I don't find out my grades until mid August, so I have the whole summer to worry >.<

I wanted to learn harp when I was veeeery young he.
Piano since 6 on my own, then I began private lessons at my demand too at 8-9 I think ? Can't remember well. The guitar (I practice/play on electric and acoustic - practicing classic and manouche currently) at 15, viola (is it the good term ?)/violin at 18, then drums, bass for fun. But I'm kinda bad at drums haha, I'm not at ease, which is frustrating because I would love to be a badass at it. I played times to times on synthesizers too and I toy a little with some mao stuff related. Does glockenspiel count ? :p We have a ukulele made by someone in the family but I never tried it (double chords). And some To'ere, but for decoration...
I'm thinking about trying cello for years now, though I stopped playing everything since forever. I really like accordion, saxophone, virginals, and the viol. I probably forgot some others.

ahh, yes! c: i play the violin and have been playing since i was four, i'm seventeen now, so it's been a while. i adore it, it's funny, because as i child i HATED it, but now i'm so happy that i stuck with it because it's such a gorgeous instrument and everybody thinks it's cool. plus, my school does these coffee house things where kids get up and sing, read poetry and various writings, etc. and i've been constantly asked to play the violin while somebody sings this song or that song. it's wonderful and it makes me so happy to play it. u w u

I do wish I could play the viola tho

ah same, i personally think it's the nicest of all the string instruments
my brother learned to play it because his university orchestra was short on violas so he converted from violin to viola

I play piano and cello 'professionally' but i own a flute, i just really suck. I still can't even make a noise out of it XD but it's just sitting in my room at the moment. WAITING.
I have a lot of videos of me playing piano, but I'm too lazy to post them here ヽ(;▽;)ノ

I play the piano poorly. I also used to be able to play the clarinet (also abysmally). I really want to get back into piano, but I feel like I'm just not good at it. I haven't done it in years, but for some reason, my sight-reading skills when it comes to sheet music have gotten better, haha.

I've always wanted to try the penny whistle since I love how it sounds. I've also tried a few weeks of guitar during a summer program, and I loved it and the teacher thought I was excellent at it (although that was partially because I was among the few who could already read sheet music so I picked up everything super quickly), and I wouldn't mind trying it again. I'm just afraid that the same thing will happen, and I'll feel discouraged if I end up not being good at it.

I'm doing a university degree where I study musicology, composition and performance, then I will most likely choose to specialise in performance in 2nd and 3rd year! ^^

I suck at composing haha.

I play the violin, but I've stopped in the recent months because of a fight with my teacher. I'm hopefully going out to meet my new teacher today ^^

I want to play the piano, but since I'm Asian, everyone automatically assumes that I know how to play the piano xD

i play tuba and trombone and hopefully soon the bass trombone o:
i wanna learn the violin tho.. i also spent like 2 weeks on clarinet and steel drums. i loved the steel drums and i would love to learn them. there's steel drum classes in my district but not at the highschool im going to sadly.
