Do you play ACNL in 3D?

Never, but I tried it out when I first got the system - didn't care for it too much. I get migraines bad enough already.
And as for why I don't get a 2DS, I don't like how the system doesn't close and for me cuts down on portability and it seems like it would be easier for the screens to be damaged. Just my two cents.

I love the 3d, and only play in 3d. In fact, for pokemon x and y, it took me forever to get into it because of the non 3d dissappointment.

I don't use 3D in any games. I find you have to keep the DS too still in one place otherwise it gets blurry/dizzy.

I do like it for cutscenes though!

Same. Even though I don't use the 3D the 2DS is just way too ugly and impractical.

Very rarely, as long as I'm staring straight ahead at it without tilting. I admit it looks pretty neat with the amount of depth, but it can get hard on the eyes really fast. I might use the 3D more with the upcoming new 3DS/3DS XLs coming out, though. Supposedly it's much better integrated with those upgrades.

I don't use 3D often since its bad for your eys as well it gives you headaches after a while.

I pretty much only play games with the 3D on, even on ones where it's pretty much completely frivolous like Phoenix Wright. I will turn it off at times if I'm worried about conserving the battery though.

I spend about 70% of the time with 3D on.
I prefer 3D (come on, if you don't like it, get a 2DS) but there are times when I need to play in glaring light or move the 3DS around, so I turn it off sometimes.

I can think of plenty of reasons to not get a 2DS and none of them have to do with 3D.

Wow I'm surprised at all these responses! I must be one of the lucky few, but I have no trouble comfortably playing in 3d for hours. I think the game looks WAY better in 3D (I cringe at the 2Dness). The extra depth really helps make the town feel like a living, tangible place. 2D is just flat and...meh

Oh thank god I thought I would read all of these replies and not find one person that likes the 3D! I cannot stand playing in 2D, I always play in 3D and find it hard to tolerate looking at the screen when the 3D is off I guess cause I'm so used to looking at the screen like that... Honestly the game is so beautiful in 3D I don't know why more people don't play with the 3D on! You can see so much more of the details in everything! I'll try and turn the 3D, sound, and wireless off if I'm somewhere I can't charge my DS though.

One of my friend's does and IDK how he can stand it. He finds it awesome though.
