Do you plan to change your island based on season?

My island is very summer/beach/vacation themed. I figure I'm going to get it finished just it time for fall. LOL I'm really looking forward to the fall nature (trees, grass, etc.), but I'm not sure how to work it in with my theme. So, I'm wondering if you plan to do seasonal updates. It would be fun to do a few, but I don't want to completely overhaul my island.

I'll probably switch up some of the decorations outside but for the most part it'll look the same. It's a lot of effort to have to switch every little thing.

I'm planning on switching out some decorations from my shops and street market areas a to make it as low effort as possible.

Not really, though once I get my feathers on the autumn leaves, mushroom and Halloween sets, my island's decor might get majorly redone and stay like that for years to come, just like I did in NL.

I plan to make it all-Halloween decorations. At least some. Not too much that'd it'd be a huge hassle to get rid of it once Christmas rolls around.

I don't go for "themes" on my island because I don't want it to be one specific thing, like a "beachy" theme like you said. I like having a suburban neighborhood, a natural forest area, a market place, and some other trash lol. I don't see myself ever giving it one specific theme to follow, so honestly, re-decorating parts of it for Halloween shouldn't be hard.

Hope you can get your island to look good!

I don't feel like I have enough DIYs and items for this...
But maybe once I get enough items/DIYs I might do it.
The frozen set is awesome and would be cool during winter.
They're probably going to add a boatload of new DIY's to collect from balloons.

I have a little beach area by my house and I’m changing it from a beach area to a graveyard(for Halloween) then a cosy pizza area(for winter) but idk about spring.

i do not know. I Trying to build my Catlog and maybe Fix my Tree layout as i got my Furit trees all over the place.

I chose a southern hemisphere island so it's winter at the moment and the entrance area is decorated with the frozen set. I'll be changing it for spring since it's unlikely the frozen ice items will look right without snow!

I keep wondering what the folks with heavily decorated or cluttered islands are going to do in winter. To make perfect snowboys and get the recipes and large snowflakes, you need to have empty space for the snowballs to spawn. That could be a challenge for some people since their islands are packed.

Instead of my island, one of my characters' houses will be a hotel based on the four seasons. Right now my lobby is based on spring and 2 regular rooms are based on summer. The kitchen and café will be autumn themed and the VIP will be winter themed. I may change the furniture around after awhile though

Fall and winter are my favourite seasons, so I am absolutely switching up a few things to celebrate these times of year. I’ll probably leave parts of the beaches alone, even though it’ll be out of season, but who doesn’t love a cool autumn picnic by the ocean? :)

To a degree. I mean, I plan on keeping the main layout the same. BUT I'll be changing up certain areas. Like, I have a mini-fair area outside my museum. I'll definitely be doing a little spooky carnival there come Halloween! And I'm planning to do a proper little harvest festival look during the fall (I'm TTing to November soon to get my paws on some mushroom stuff!) In the winter, I'll try and make my lighthouse overlook cafe a bit cozier. Maybe add a stove/bonfire and more brick and log stuff?
So, yeah, I'm definitely gonna change decor for seasons- and I'm really looking forward to it 😁

I'm definitely going to add a Christmas tree area, but I already have a ton of mush decoration out, so we'll see!
